I get it. However if you look back, we weren't consistently picking up those kinds of running yards in 8 box sets.

No i did not, I said they had a few problems but the backs should have made positive yards on some of those plays. 2nd and 7 is much different then 2nd an 14. With a stacked box they danced from center to off tackle and lost yards. Put your damn head down get the two yards and live to run another play.

The second half was awful, without a pass defense to run against we stink. Randle never hit the hole with his head down for a one yard gain once! Hit took a three yard loss five times.

The defense lost us the game. They couldn't stop Atlanta. Running game was fine until they adjusted to the dink and dunk offense and stacked the line. Again, you're way off.

Earl Campbell was/ is the only running back that has that ability. Lol. Didn't know that. I recall Marion barber having a " little" of that trait. I've seen Demario Murray do that a couple of times. Lagerette from New England does that. Brandon Jacobs used to fall forward and get 5 yards against us lolollolol

True, but we didn't do it in week one or two either with Romo and Dez. Every week there is an excuse, no? We don't look the same in the running game, there are multiple reasons.

The RBs were definitely not the problem. Once Atlanta figure out that Weeden would not throw the ball over 8 yards, they started loading up at the line. They not only had more defenders than could be blocked, but they were run blitzing.

Exactly. At some point you HAVE to send T-Will or Street or whoever deep and even if Weeden overthrows them by 10 yards who cares. You have to make the defense at least respect the possibility of a deep pass. They know everything will be short so they aren't the least bit worried about anything deep and can focus everything on what's in front of them.

I would, up 28-14 every defense stacks the box. This is where you close out the game with physical down hill running, we failed to do that. There are multiple reasons, as a whole just awful to blow that lead.

Romo and Dez started the season and our run game wasn't nothing to write home about in those games either.
