Our running game

I would like to see a little more variation in our running game. Why are half of our runs, draws?

We should be running a minimum of 30 times per game. Minus Austin, Crayton, Romo, we ran 26 times.

We should give Jones and Choice more action, while Marion Barber is limited.

I'm almost willing to say each back should get 10 touches.

I like to see the offense put up points and that is what they are doing. I think Dallas is showing good balance in the offense we avg a little over 27 carries a game while avg 32 passes a game

It's time to ditch the draw. Teams have caught on or have picked up something in our blocking because it's no longer working.

We must stick to the running game against Philly. Our sole focus should be to stay out of 3rd and long. There's nothing wrong with 2-3 yd running plays on 1st and 2nd downs, especially against Philly.

The screen pass should definitely be in the game plan this week as well...

This will be the week. Garrett has been hiding our 3 headed monster a bit running mostly gimmick, misdirection runs. He also has been setting up the run with the pass, we need to flip that against the Egals.

I think we are finally gonna see a strong committment to our run game, with more power formations. We need to protect Romo in this hostile environment, and JG will do just that. These philthy turds are in for a surprise when we come back in town.

They've also had a lot of success pitching it to Felix(sometimes using misdirection plays) yet they don't seem to use it very often.

I think Garrett needs to continue to mix things up and the players need to execute. We do that and we can beat Philly.

The only gripe that I have about the running game is consistency,to many negative plays to me.There are to many times that for whatever reason our line breaks down, which leads to lost yardage. To be fare about it,I can't say whether the breakdown is bad scheme or lack of execution. But whatever the reason it needs to be cleaned up.

Overall all it's hard to gripe about an offense that is ranked #2 overall in the league and I believe #6 in the running game.

What running game? We have the best trio of rb's sitting on the bench...:bang2:

Whether we run or not is going to depend on how the EaGirls score on us. They can score in a hurry. Both on ST and offense. If we are playing catch up, JG is going to go pass happy in a hurry. Biggest complaint I have with JG is that he tends to panic too quickly.

What's happened that last two games is that the defenses have been playing all out to stop the run, and forcing us to beat them with the pass.

I think we'll see the running game getting better in the next few games, now that we have the passing game going pretty well.

I would be interested in knowing at what point did this statement ever make any sense to you?

I wanna see our 3 RBs with 40+ runs per game... Please JG, don't call too much passing calls! Romo has a strong arm but he's mentally fragile.
I wanna see our RBs go off tackle expecially Felix; Choice more involved
on our offense

i dont think Red sees it this way.He will not commit to the run but will take what he can get.In this game it may not work.

I like the draw plays when Chice or Felix are in but when Marion is back there I think he's better at the dive plays or stretch plays IMO it allows our huge O-line to go and attack the defenders and it allows Marion more options then one hole beacause the past few times we have ran the draw with MB he's running into a caved in pocket and he gets taken down for a loss but on the dive plays he picks his hole and run and the o-line gets a big push each time

Seeing Barber get take down in the back field on every draw is painful to watch.

At some point they have to go "ya know, maybe this isn't working".
