Twitter: Our Starting Running Back come Week 1

Yeah, if we want to lose.

Why in the world would you want a slow 7th round rook to start? How does that make any sense at all?
So you wouldnt ever start a 5th ,6th, or 7th round pick? I think blue was 5th round ?
Blue is super fast, the fastest guy on the team maybe.
Mafah has good speed for a big guy.

I dont blow anyone off due to draft status, or instantly herald high picks.
Give them, a honest chance, to show what they can do, and go from there.

By your standards Brady would have never played in nfl and same for purdy and warner.

You missed the word "slow"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So get off your bandbox, you're aiming at the wrong poster!!!!!!

Mafah is very slow to the hole. That is what I mean by slow. If you'd been paying attention, you wouldn't have had to rant!!!!

The best thing for the team will be if the 2 rookies are the backs.
Would be nice to have some experience back there especially in critical games. Can’t afford rookie mistakes in those games. Blue has had some fumbling issues. If our two backs are a 5th and 7th round pick I’m not so sure that would be the best thing for the team.

Highly doubt it.
He would literally have to have a very impressive pre-season showing.
Part of the problem last year was waiting over half season to start Rico and play him full time. They should be giving the two new rookie RB's more opportunity to show what they can do.
We already know what the other two are capable of. If somehow Williams can upgrade himself from Denver to the Cowboys and manage more than 3.5 yrds per carry then that might change things. (I just don't see that happening)

2nd year removed from horrific knee injury, why don't you see it happening?

Javonte's last year healthy before the knee injury, he was 203/903/4 TDs. That's 4.45 YPC.

Blue is the only one with must of a chance to be a real difference maker, so I say load him up, give him 15 carries a game from the beginning and see what happens.

IMO, none of the others have shown enough to believe they are going to be able to carry the load.

So much hype about a bunch of late round draft picks, this is how you know the backfield is in a bad position. Desperation.
....to go with two 2nd Rd Vets. The only real 'bad position' is that there's little deception....it may be easy to read our intention from who's on the field. Then again is it better to have Specialist weapons or Jack of All Trades?.......it could be argued that the former gives a better chance to scheme (and could add a measure of deception).
