Our team does this. Other teams do that

It feel like we are the only team that does not do much to take advantage of game time situations. On the same play today, their center went out and our free safety went out. So what happens? We didn't go up the middle and challenge the new guy but guess what the lions did? Yep, they went after our rookie safety and scored a TD. On that play, they moved their guard to center and brought in a new guard but we just rushed four and didn't challenge their middle at all.

They say Bill B and the Pats make you beat him with 1 hand tied behind your back by scheming away what you do best.

We not only don’t tie a hand behind your back, we give you brass knuckles.
This is the best analogy of the Garrett era to date

There's only one thing worse than our coaches not scheming or attacking certain personnel to gain an advantage, and that's the fact that they are not pressed for accountability.

We have a GM who's learning on the job, we have a head coach that's learning on the job, we have an OC that's learning on the job, a DC that should retire from the job and a passing game coordinator that stinks at the job. Yet no one is under intense pressure to do a better job:(

We just line up and try to beat the man on the other side, whoever it is. Scheming to exploit the other team's weakness is not what we do.
Garrett doesn't want fingers pointed at him for picking on the poor new guy. He understands sensitivity more than most realize.

We don't focus on other teams we just focus on ourselves. -Garrett.

Now you know why he says that. No gameplanning or scheming what so ever.
Fact check: The team does in fact game plan and scheme for their opponents.

"We do what we do."

Garrett makes a virtue of playing stupid.

That's a Garrett philosophy. Go out and beat your man one on one. There is no need to take advantage of certain situations. That's because Garrett wants the players to trust his process.

This is where Garrett fails. We all know the league changes each and every year. What will work one year won't work the next. He doesn't adapt or doesn't make changes that benefit the team. It's the same ole' thing each and every year. That is where Garrett fails miserably. That's why he needs to be fired right now.

I'm not a a garrot fan but we lost Lael and were fine with Fleming in at RT...

What's their gameplan when things aren't going right? When a player starts to struggle how do scheme him back into playing with confidence? They don't. They just do what they do. You are referring to pre-game preparations. I'm talking about in game adjustments.

Why would you want to take advantage of the opposing team's injury situation? That would be unfair.

We do what we do. And that's how JG likes it.

Pretty much exactly how robots behave.

Slow ones at that. Anyone catch having to call TO in order to decide to go for 2 or not?

What exactly were you thinking the whole drive? Wasnt as if he was calling plays either.

Princeton ay?
