Outscore opponents...forget defense man. We've tried for years and it hasn't worked. A 2nd or 3rd round prospect won't change that. We've tried different schemes, different coordinators, and none of it has mattered. Offense all the way!

We're not going to have great DEs this year (certainly not for the first four weeks). That's clear. And I sincerely hope they're not letting this affect the draft strategy.

Jason Jones still hasn't signed elsewhere has he? He can be a better band-aid than Mincey. I would call Chicago about Willie Young, he's attainable and would be our best DE until Lawrence is back.

Right, why address a position of need that would be crazy, Dodd would be great value in the 2nd.

Denver and Carolina just played in the SuperBowl and they had top 5 defenses. If we cant put together a top 12 defense we wont be going all the way.

Really, just pick good players. No problem leaning toward defense but drafting a de because we need a de early in the season is a recipe for a wasted pick

Didn't miss it at all. Drafting based on who your starters are/aren't gets you DE's like Ekuban, Carver.........
