Well! Don't stop there!

Choice's 2-yard touchdown gets you excited! His 3 carries for 13 yards gets your heart pumping!

Settle down now! Take a nitroglycerin.

Better yet, check out Felix Jones' over 7-yard per carry average this season. That's sure to put you into cardiac arrest just like *SNAP!* that!

:bang2:

Yes the TD get's me excited. Yes his 3 carries for 13 yards get me excited. No Felix 7 ypc average doesn't get me excited. IF he can do that on 80 orr 90 carries or for a full season then i'd be excited about it. Anymore questions ?

I believe Butler was in for Spencer the next play when he was hurt, Bobby was inside for the nickle with Bradie. The announcer just got it wrong.

You are correct the announcers got it wrong. Butler came in and was playing the OLB spot when Spencer was injured. Carpenter was out there as well but was playing his normal position in the nickel.

I love the fact that the wealth is being "spread around". It makes it tougher to scheme against this team and if the young guys get reps, and we win, then everybody gets some love. :)

Nope. You're as transparent as Rocky Mountain spring water.

I'm sure Jones would have loved having the opportunity to run for a 2-yard touchdown, but the coaches gave that chance to Choice instead. It's all good. All three running backs are handling their split duty remarkably well. Some of their fans aren't, but what do they care about that as long as they're winning with that formula, right?

The same thing could be said when Mb3 was getting all the TDs and JJ was the starter........

Yeah. And..? Here's the situation in 2009:

Marion Barber is the starter. He's going to be utilized on most running plays particularly in the first and fourth quarters. He's going to pound the defensive front seven and wear them down as the game progresses.

Felix Jones is the change of pace back. He will be substituted in during situational plays only.

Tashard Choice is the backup. He is insurance, plain and simple.

All three backs are valuable to this offense. All three are too talented to keep standing on the sidelines, but fan emphasis on how they 'should be' used during the game will not run contradictory to the established offensive scheme.

Barber's the grinder. Jones is the setup. And Tashard is the cleanup. This lineup will only change due to injury or if one leaves the team. Let's hope that all of them remain healthy since the latter ain't happening anytime this season.

I'm as hungry as Tashard.
I want to win like Tashard.
Why are you always hatin' on me?
