They have Blalock, Bowe, Nelson and Revis a lot lower then anyone else's mock draft.PFW has Sabby Piscitelli going in the 3/4 round . They say he looks much better in shorts, has a reputation as a "pretender" and his best bet is backup box safety and special teams, plus he has questionable ball skills.

Well, that sounds like the guy Jerry will pick then. :lmao2:

That's the reaction I had. I wouldn't mind Smith in the 3rd, but I'd poop my pants if those were our first 2 picks.

Count me as one that hopes we don't select those two with our first picks-- for ogt's sake. :D

On the positive side, every other Mock Draft we see from here on out will at teh very least be better than that.

that sounds like Jerry Jones draft, circa 1995

thats just putrid

I actually thought of Jerry Jones when I saw that as well.

Mine thought was a little later.

I would not be a happy camper if that is the way things panned out.

Jones can't win for losing. I am sure if this draft goes well forum members will be pontificating that Parcells was advising him behind the scenes or that Phillips and Ireland deserve all the credit.

From what I have read draft picks have typically been a committee affair with Jones casting the tie breaker. Now free agent acquisitions is another matter.

Here is the run down on Sabby Piscitelli: Not exactly a first round talent. Sounds more like a 6th or 7th rounder to me. Definitely not an immediate impact starter. Watkins is better than this; why would we draft his back up in the first round?

Strengths:
Has excellent size, a big frame and good bulk...Aggressive and plays with a nasty attitude...Solid speed and range...Good hands and ball skills...He'll hold his own in short to intermediate coverage for the most part...Great instincts...Is very smart with a nice motor and top intangibles...Has some versatility...Tons of experience.

Weaknesses:
Is not very physical...Struggles to disengage from blocks...Doesn't match up well with receivers in coverage and has trouble deep...A 'tweener who lacks the ability to play safety and is not big enough to be a linebacker...Only an average tackler.

Notes:
Could be looked at as a potential outside linebacker prospect by some teams...He plays more of a finesse game and for a guy of his dimensions that is not what is expected...Was also a standout baseball player in high school...Certainly has the physical tools you look for but does not play to them and may be a bit overrated.

I dont like the draft at all..I hope it doesn't go that way
