He will but i doubt we have any interest in him,we are in the market for way slower TEs who can block .

If we waste our pick on a guy like Peppers, I'll scream like a child

Ourlads seems to always give us a weird draft. No pass rushers?
They could be banking on the Cowboys feeling comfort with Irving Collins Tapper and Smith providing more pressure as a group, and sticking to their board like white on rice... I guess... but even then you'd think the Cowboys would take 1 in the late rounds.

first blush it looks gross.
on per pick reflection and ignoring the glaring need at pass rusher it's almost palatable.
peppers would start at SS here day 1 (whether he's good there is a fair question).
engram would become the TE3 day 1 and likely be the next int he long-line of witten replacements.
rasul douglas can really play and might even start. very physical guy that plays a lot like anthony brown.
r4 OT is sensible given Free retirement and need for depth.

but ultimately you gotta get an edge guy in there somewhere with this draft loaded with them.
Peppers is an interesting player.

I would not want to use a 1st on him and maybe not a 2nd; however, I would love to have him on the team to see if he could develop.

It seems like he could be a more athletic version of Barry Church, but I would worry about him developing as a coverage player. I need way more than Barry Church with a 1st or 2nd round pick.

I think Peppers can cover pretty well right now.

He isn't a player I'm certain about, so maybe I'm wrong... but I like him a good bit.

really? Not me.

I used to be a Buchsbaum guy and everyone else seemed lame in comparison.

I was a Buschbaum guy too. He was tops for me. But I liked Ourlad's stuff too and actually used to order it in the mail back in the day when everything wasn't on the internet.

When I was young, I used to wait on Buchsbaum's PFW Draft Guide like it was the most important thing in the world. You couldn't get draft info any other way.

It was the best.

I understand that logic. I think we might do that with the cornerback position. But we will at least draft one or two late in the draft.

I can so relate to that! I still have one of his guides, I think it's from 2002!
