Out West, in Utah's Butch Cassidy country

From the time I lived in Utah I had heard stories about Butch and Sundance not being killed in SA. The whole supposed death in Bolivia was a very detailed attempt to throw off the Pinkertons using several different stories.
In the end it worked. What is even funnier is that it is still working.

Like I said, Bryce Canyon is beautiful. The higher you go the more you see that just boggles the mind.

I scanned my 20 year old pictures from Zion's and Grafton, but had issues with them last night. Will try agian tonight to load them.

All I had to do was tell guard at the checkpoint that I was there and I was let right through. We used to take night hikes up to weeping rock to make out.

Great memories.

The guard's wife never got wise?

Hoodoo: Geology. A column of eccentrically shaped rock, produced by differential weathering.

I had to look that term up, Dave... Spectacular again as they reach far into the horizon. The time frame and process to form those features boggles the mind.

I take it ya'll (that's redneck for plural "you") made the obligatory trip down south a bit to the Grand Canyon as well? No matter how touristy the GC is awe inspiring in its own right.

Thanks again for posting some of your photos and may I say your better half is lovely.

yeah we couldn't miss.
After staying in Bryce we left the day after to the south 'til Page-Lake Powell where we had other great experiences: Antelope Canyon in the Navajo reservation, and Horseshoe bend to have a beautiful view of Colorado.
Then again, the day after we went down on the 89 to the Desert view and spent one day and a half in the Grand Canyon...what can I say...we were out of the world those days, and we filled our eyes and hearts and...we wish we were there again

PS thanx for the redneck language lesson :p:. Is typical of the South?

Well, heck yeah. The South is the only region where proper English is spoken in the U.S. ;)
