Very close, but I would argue yes. The Cowboys went shot for shot with them, the Cowboys just couldn't get anything going offensively. Eliminate the turnovers or even just hit on a couple plays in the pass game and we may be having much different conversations today.
It really makes me shed a tear how well the defense played and how it got wasted.
And even in the first half we were moving the ball ok'ish, turnovers hurt us bad cause 49ers really turned it on in the second half and we couldnt do jack
I put no! I watched the game. I think it was very evenly matched teams. Both Ds stepped up. Kind of hard to take Dak out of the equation because it affects how the teams play and strategy. Overall I thought it could go either way.
I’m wondering if this team will ever turn on Dak. I know he’s a great leader and most teammates supposedly love him, but they just let everything out on that field and lost because of one person not doing their job.
I voted yes. I thought we had virtually the perfect defensive game plan matched with the physicality needed to contain their offense.
Offensively, I thought the line did as good of a job as could be reasonably expected against that front. Really didn't hear Bosa's name called much. The return game tried to ignite multiple drives. But the QB play just didn't rise to the occasion.
Outside of Dak and Zeke I was two very good evenly matched teams go toe to toe. Unfortunately the rest of the team could not make up for the deficiencies of the the QB and his BFF.
In reality, SF has the best defense in the league and there is not a close second. We have 2 guys that could start on their defense. Did Dak play poorly? Absolutely and SF had a lot to do with it.
