Defensively we played better, we had more sacks and should have at least 1 turnover. But they have 2 turnovers that had nothing to do with their pass rush.

The defense played well enough to win. The offense was stale. Bad coaching along with players not executing. SF made more big plays. Diggs dropped int was huge

Our lack of offensive production put a tremendous burden on our D and they eventually started showing signs of fatigue. It's impossible to separate the two. If Dak played better the defense would have been in much better shape to limit any 49er offensive production. So my answer is No, but the preceding qualification applies.

Outside of Dak and I'm going to add trayvon Diggs his failure to engage with kittle on that pass that he could have broken up easily let that drive continue and then his failure to intercept the ball in his hands had a big impact on the game.

Dak and Diggs both played like crap in that game.

Coaches failed to bench Prescot after 2nd Interception. That one thing might have won the game.

You can blame it all on Dak if you want but the defense just got beat by a last pick in the draft guy. Parsons needs to stop reading his press clippings about how good he is. He has been a no show against the 49ers 2 years in a row. It was a team loss.

It was a very even game with result in doubt until the 4th Q when the damage from Dak's poor play caught up with the defense. That 91 yard SF drive for a TD was a back breaker and the Cowboys D made a lot of uncharacteristic errors in the sequence.

I think they outplayed them for the most part. Dak’s 2 ints were the difference makers.

Hell yeah we outplayed them. We were the more physical team on both sides....but like the thread title reads.....one guy didn't show up with his A game!

This "L" is totally on Dak. Although the defense might have performed even better if Diggs wasn't making "business decisions" over the past few weeks. He saw enough of his compatriots in the Dallas secondary go down with injury this season, and said "Nope, ain't havin' none of that!"

Dak's contract will hold this franchise hostage, at gunpoint, until it expires. We're just going to have to suck it up, and deal with what was a horrendous mistake of a marriage, until a divorce can be finalized. In the meantime, I'd have no problem having Cooper Rush drive the bus. Not flashy, not a great arm...but he has a brain & doesn't make a lot of stupid mistakes. When Dak is good, he's very good...but when he's bad, he's horrid. And he's horrid a lot. A tremendous liability, with a ton of real-world evidence to back it up. Can't wait to move on...to move anywhere from this dysfunctional product.

Not even close. Lamb, Lawrence and Turpin were the highlights, everyone else didn't show up including the staff.
Maher is inept to the point that they wouldn't try FGs, but instead tried making a 3rd and long.
We ran for a combined 76 yards, that's not going to win you playoff games. No clock control.
Did anyone, anyone at all have a plan against freaking Warner? Jeez that guy killed us.
The defense looked gassed, no energy and couldn't tackle per usual.
Missed turnover opportunities in the secondary.
Parsons had one solo tackle, no sacks even though he got pressure, he didn't look charged or thrilled to play.

This was a close game, Dallas wasn't prepared nearly across the board.

Hell yes. Ceedee went off. We had almost 100 yards rushing. The defense balled. Maher made his field goals. The special teams gave us a turnover and Turpin gave us good field position multiple times. Dak was horrible and lost the team the game. It's all on him and Kellen Moore.

I put no! I watched the game. I think it was very evenly matched teams. Both Ds stepped up. Kind of hard to take Dak out of the equation because it affects how the teams play and strategy. Overall I thought it could go either way.

I hope Dak gave you a good back rub to post that

Defense got two takeaways, their running game got going in the end, their QB didn't make a lot of mistakes. They played better. It was a hard fought game though.
