Pretty level first half. Losing TP killed running game, which as we know, keeps our Defense on the field leaving them gassed in the 4th.
I'd even venture that losing Tony was the reason for Dak's ultimate downfall.

This is what infuriates me the most

San Fran is probably the best team left and we outplayed them sans our QB play.
I think the Eagles will expose Purdy. I though we made him look shaky, but right now we dont bring the same heat the Eagles do

Defense played well enough to win l, offense was a mess, specially when we list Pollard. 49ers didn’t exactly impress wither but they where able to run it in the 2nd half and that was the difference

Do you feel like we outplayed SF
No we didn’t outplay them. Our defense played well and was on par with theirs for most of the game until the last few minutes of the fourth quarter when they started imposing their will. You can’t just remove your QBs play from the equation so my vote is based on that. They have too big an influence on the game. Purdy clearly outplayed Dak and that was the main reason San Francisco won.

Losing Pollard was a factor in the run game, but the loss falls squarely on Dak.

Nah, you're not giving the Niners any credit. Their defense made Dak looked bad, and just like Shanahan mastered Rodgers' tape last year, he was all over Dak's tape this year.

Cowboys fans are so one sided. They don't see that the Niners are hungrier than we are... they nearly won the Super Bowl in 2019... they werent gonna lose this game. You can play the perfect game. Niners played the perfect game too. Something had to give.

Sf pass defense is actually a weakness of their defense, but Dak couldn't take advantage
That a deceptive stat b/c teams are usually playing from behind throwing the ball a lot against them, particularly since Purdy got there and the offense has been been averaging 35 PPG with him.

Once Pollard went down. We basically were in white water without oars- running game wise. Jerry screwed the season by not replacing Cooper to add another weapon. Defense will need a few upgrades. To answer your question. I'd have to say we were outplayed. We lost....

In reality, SF has the best defense in the league and there is not a close second. We have 2 guys that could start on their defense. Did Dak play poorly? Absolutely and SF had a lot to do with it.
I would agree, but Dak was just off all game. There were at least 3 plays where he overthrew, underthrew or just plain didn't see the receiver. He had time to make those plays. Good Dak would've embarrassed SF yesterday. Instead, Bad Dak showed up and the missed opportunities cost us the game, not to mention the interceptions. Even without Pollard, we would've won with Good Dak.

He was off b/c SF was getting in his face with 4 guys dropping their LBs into coverage. Same thing happened in Washington a few weeks ago.

There is no good Dak or Bad Dak. He just plays poorly against 4 man fronts that get pressure.

Definitely!

I was feeling confident in the second quarter because I thought we were beating them in every aspect other than our mistakes. We had a great opportunity to score at the end of the half and then receive the 2nd half kickoff. Dak blew that with a red zone int.

You take away Daks 2 interceptions and he completes the deep pass to a wide open Gallup and I think we would have won that game.

Our Defense played great for 3 qtrs, Oline was good enough for a win, but at the end, when they decided to commit to the run we couldn't stop them, and their D put the clamps on our no.1 offense. We were right there, but they outplayed us when it mattered the most.

Who knows what would have happened if Dak don't throw the game away, if Pollard is not injured, if Maher was an asset not a liability, if Diggs does not drop that INT, if the Refs call some of those holdings on SF Oline, if, if , if...
