Just made a bet for $500. I bet him that Martellus Bennett has 500 yards receiving or more this season and he took it right away. Who do you honestly think got the better of the bet?

When was the last time we had a backup TE have more that 500YDS regardless of how talented he is... he's our BACKUP.

he had almost 300 yds last yr, and that was as a rookie who didnt play much...and we had Owens on the roster gobbling up chances

he's a cinch for 500 I think unless he gets hurt, he's going to be a big part of the offense

Ha good find. I actually asked him if I could back out and he said only if I buy him $70 bucks worth of chinese food. He's a big fella . I can't believe Martellus doesn't even have 10 receptions after 5 games.

I haven't seen anything up to this point in the year to say that Bennett will get 500 yards. Does he even have 100 yet? I think he'll get there, but it's going to take something we have yet to see.

When's the last time, EVER, the NFL saw two TE's this good on one roster? They both do everything a TE should do, but they both do it beyond most of their peers.
