Over/Under on Haynesworth suspension

Todd Bertuzzi was the guy from the Vancouver Canucks who was suspended for 20 games total for his hit on Steve Moore. It was a similar incident in that there was a clear intent to injure when you looked at the tape.

He ended up being suspended about 1/4 of the NHL's 83 game season. I think 1/4 (4-5 games) for Haynesworth would be appropriate.

On a side note, Moore filed civil assault charges against Bertuzzi.

I saw the replay several times, but I never saw the stuff some have reported.

What they claim to have seen makes me rethink my stance...that and the fact that we now have a new commissioner is going to work against Haynesworth...

I think the new commish will lower the boom as his first public action...make a name for himself and demand respect...ouch...it's going to be huge.

Watch it in slow mo several times and you'll see 3 kicks. I watched it in slow mo at two angles. The first kick is with his left foot while Gurode still had his helmet on, then he pulls Gurodes helmet off, steps on his head and then stomps it and the whole time he is watching what he was doing... If everyone watched it in slow mo they would see what I'm seeing, they would be demanding a permanent ban from football

I thought I was the only who who actually saw him take Gurode's HELMT OFF!

AND THEN KICK HIM!

I mean, what makes this even worse is that fact he actually took the guy's helmet off AND THEN KICKED!

I not only want him banned from the NFL, I am upset the cops have not gotten involved....that was ASSAULT.

A 350 lb man with cleats going for the head? 3 times?
