Reminds me of that famous saying. A Taylor Swift fan and his/her money soon part. :)

Good luck. Safe travels.

For those flying, don’t get on a Boeing 737 MAX.
It is a 737 Max 9 that had the problem. The Max 8's are OK. American only flies Max 8's.

I’ll add I’m flying to Dallas, staying two nights in a hotel, Ubering… so I was just hoping to save some costs.

I know some people can’t make it for one reason or another, and don’t want to come across as complaining about what is a great opportunity. Go Cowboys!!
I buy a lot of tickets to various events and that has happened to me occasionally even when I thought I was buying at a decent time. It doesn't feel good to overpay, but at the same time if you waited and the prices went up more and missed the event because of it you would regret it more. In my experience if you can't get tickets when they go on sale at face they usually are resold at premium first before cooling down a bit. I also buy a lot of tickets last minute at discounts, but tough to stomach that if you're planning a trip from out of town or really want to go to the event.

I do wish venues would put tighter caps on resales online, or even created programs that made tickets non-transferrable for a specific time after purchase which would discourage people/computers from flipping it for an instant profit.

However, be happy you're going and have the budget to allocate the money you were comfortable paying :)

This post made me feel so much more comfortable. I can’t thank you enough for it.

If I lived in or around Dallas, I would’ve definitely waited. But I needed to secure a ticket first before booking a flight and hotel. I guess that extra $250 will be peace of mind knowing that I got the ticket and didn’t have to stress the entire week.

And I completely agree. I’ve actually talked with a friend of mine recently (frequent concertgoer) about that. It’s borderline unfair to genuine consumers looking to attend the events. Hopefully it gets cleaned up!

Oh, also, How Bout Dem Cowboys!!

Driving 11 hours!!! Im not regretting getting the tickets when I did. Its going to be some great memories for me and my family!!
Be Loud!!! Our rule is to have no voice when you get out of the stadium!!! You are a part of the game!!!

Overpaid for tickets this weekend by $250. Sorry, just need to vent. First-ever Cowboys home playoff game, and I thought the tickets would go up.

Dang, this is a tough lesson to learn.
No you didn’t, we paid $400 for Miami, and $850 for 49ers. It’s only a waste if you don’t enjoy it and stop regretting something that you did already!!! Win or lose,‘it’s great fun and memories with friends and family!!!

Honestly for a playoff game I assumed they would be around 650....
I think most people are keeping their powder dry for the game next weekend. They figure we will win this weekend. And if we happen to lose they will be glad that they weren’t there.

Tickets next weekend should be much higher. If we somehow end up with a third home game they will be VERY pricey.

You're going that's the main thing. Have a great time and you will forget about the extra cost over time, but will still remember the experience at the game

It will be worth it. I promise you. Even though the food doesn't impress me too much. I was there first time on Detroit game to witness Jimmy Johnson inducted to ROH. It is an amazing experience. Go there as early as you can and enjoy the whole experience.

Friends in our circle/section are all going... no one sold and I expect tickets to go higher in the next 24 hours. GB usually travels well. I would burn ours before I would sell to a cheesehead. Wisconsin is another state that is on my hate list.
