The expensive ticket will be next week with us trying to finally get back to the NFC Champ Game

One game at a time though

I'm spoiled in that I've had free parking in Lot13 for the last 9 years because my best friend worked for the Cowboys, and If he wasn't with me, he'd just give me a parking pass. I can park for free in my other friend's apartments by WalMart, but I'm tailgating. I don't have parking with my ST's. I broke down and bought a pass for Lot13, and after the $55 fee (which is criminal), I paid over $200 to park. I'm ashamed. Lol. I'll be getting there the second the lots open to make it worth it.

you can always make more money, but this run will be something that you can't put a price on...

As time goes by you won't even remember what you paid. You'll remember that you had an experience.
Thankfully the database behind this forum is backed up so we can always search to get confirmation.

Tickets for good seats in Levi Stadium for the Championship game were about $1,500/seat a few days ago. Once it is announced the Cowboys are playing, they will go up dramatically.

No clue. The ticket I bought had a deal score on SeatGeek of 9.8 at time of purchase. It now has a 2.8 deal score.

It’s cheaper in Dallas than when I went to Tampa Bay’s playoff game against the Cowboys last year.
The "deal scores" are always relative to the other tickets that are CURRENTLY for sale. So it probably was a great deal at the time you bought. Tickets are always the most expensive when the schedule is first announced. Then there's a gradual decrease as the ticket re-sellers want to make sure they don't get stuck with a lot of tickets. Then, if the tickets are becoming more scarce they can go back up near the end. And finally, if you're willing to wait until game day, they can drop quite a bit... but I wouldn't have the balls to wait that long!

With the Packers in the mix and their crazy fans, you kind of had to jump on tickets early, so don't beat yourself up on it. There was no guarantee that the supply wouldn't disappear almost immediately.

The thing is, it's tough for visiting fans to take over a stadium for playoffs because it's tough to schedule everything you need to schedule on such short notice. I've been planning for this playoff game for weeks (actually months) now. Booking Airbnbs months ago, booking refundable plane tickets. I have travel arrangements booked all the way through the NFC Championship game... now just gotta get the team to cooperate and win!

@DezTroy97 Cowboys tickets are always higher when first released and in most cases go down as the game approaches. It’s harder and far more expensive to make plans to attend games on short notice so even large fan bases like Green Bay won’t have as many fans in attendance as they would if it were a regular season game. Don’t feel too bad about overpaying because the ticket market for the Cowboys can be whacky and you never know with certainty if they will go up or down. 328 is a nice section with a nice view.

I don't think the tickets being cheaper now is just a Cowboys thing.

Buffalo vs. Pittsburgh tickets are significantly cheaper right now than they were when Dallas was there.

Overpaid for tickets this weekend by $250. Sorry, just need to vent. First-ever Cowboys home playoff game, and I thought the tickets would go up.

Dang, this is a tough lesson to learn.
Could have kept that money and had a feast in the comfort of your home while watching the Boys on a big tv and still have money in your pocket for other stuff.....but you would miss out on the traffic, high parking fees, lines of people, concessions jacked up prices, souvenirs also jacked up that will probably end up in a thrift shop one day and last but not least the bathroom visits. Why on earth would you want to stay home and watch the Boys when you could have experienced the experience of a live Cowboys playoff game. I guess I get it but the extra $250 you spent is ridiculous so we are in agreement on that part of it. Enjoy the game and make memories, pict/vids out the Y Zoo. Also color me envious.

That fee is absolutely ridiculous. Mine was $200. Not sure how they can keep getting away with it.

Friends in our circle/section are all going... no one sold and I expect tickets to go higher in the next 24 hours. GB usually travels well. I would burn ours before I would sell to a cheesehead. Wisconsin is another state that is on my hate list.
Yup, I delisted. I’m not taking the chance that I sell it to a Green Bay fan. I guess my biggest concern with cheaper prices is that more cheeseheads will be in the damn stadium.

You're going that's the main thing. Have a great time and you will forget about the extra cost over time, but will still remember the experience at the game
This will be an unforgettable experience. My dispute with SeatGeek didn’t work, but I’m just happy to be going. So excited!
