Not a great year to be picking top 10 for a team that desperately needs WR help.

TMac is probably my early WR1 but I don’t see him as a top 10 talent. Love the length, catch radius and ball skills but I don’t see an easy separator. I saw a Drake London comp and thought that was perfect.

Burden is boom or bust. Explosive athlete but his route tree is borderline non existent. I think the top 20 talk is wild.

I’m actually very high on Bond. He’ll get labeled as a speed guy, which he is, but he might be the best route runner in the class. Catch is top 10ish small WRs generally don’t hit. If he does probably has a Waddle type ceiling but there are probably 100 names of similar size / speed that haven’t hit.

Egbuka had a monster breakout year a few years back then got injured and is now playing 2nd fiddle to OSUs phenom freshman. He’s labeled as been a stud athlete but feel like most of his success is on short passes and crossers and you don’t really see him stretch the field much. Hard time seeing him as a 1st rounder.

Tre Harris is another player I’m high on but he’s probably more of a fringe 1st / 2nd rounder. Love the size, length, ball skills and down the field playmaking ability against good comp in the SEC. Looks like a great fit for our O.

I know it’s a bad class overall but I’d be hard pressed to take any of these dudes around pick 10. If we’re dead set on a WR would much rather trade down and take whoever falls between TMac and Bond.

we are not; or should say should not waste a high pick on a WR
we have a very good if not great WR1
we do need a WR2 which is not worth a high pick
and as you said the WR class this year is not all that

That’s today’s NFL…having one good WR isn’t enough. The big time contenders all have 2 legit stud receiving options.

I love Tre Harris around pick 35.

Love his game…just your classic big bodied X that I think would be a solid chain mover and make some plays down the field for you.
Looks like he would be a good addition with upside. This draft is going to be very interesting.

Given the roster, we likely would have better options (and a bigger need) at other positions.

In other words, draft a WR in the 1st and do nothing about DT or RB or even strengthen the OL, the team is still gonna struggle.

BPA in the 1st.

Eagles, Lions, 49ers, Vikings…all of the contenders.
The two best teams Baltimore and KC don’t because they have stud quarterbacks. The Cowboys have drafted their receiver for 2025. Mingo!!!!!!

Anyway don’t get to caught up in the Cowboys draft because you will be disappointed like you have been the last few years. The Cowboys want to protect Dak first and foremost. The plan will be to improve the running game. They will over draft a running back no doubt.

I dont think we need a top 10 caliber guy anyways. Seems like it would be a waste. I think if we go WR, we should be looking at a tier 2 type guy either by trading down or possibly getting value early in the 2nd like teams have done with Higgins, Pittman and McConkey

Maybe not, but feel like to get a high end number 2 you need to basically use a 1st these days. In a weak class not sure how good of a player we’ll be getting in the 2nd.

I’m BPA at a money position in the 1st, so we don’t have to go WR, just stating some thoughts.

I’m going to assume you’re being sarcastic about KC and Balt.
Yeah I am but am also thinking like Jerry unfortunately. He thinks Dak is on those guys level and believes all we need to do is get our running game back. Then the Cowboys will be good again.

If Jerry looks at Baltimore and KCs rosters thinking the QBs are elevating the team and they’re winning in spite of defense, run game and great weapons he’s dumber than I think he is…which is saying a lot.

Dak and Mahomes actually have fairly similar numbers this year and KC is undefeated. Crazy how the Chiefs understand the best QB on the planet even needs help to win.

Jerry is not trying to win Super Bowls he is looking for headlines.

you do not need two #1 picks at WR
show me a SB winner that had that
