True, but yesterday's loss had a different feel to it. It's worrisome.

Yeah, because we failed all over the place. Is that a one time glitch or an indication of significant problems?

What do you want members to do?

Keep all their daily repetitiously controllable angst bottled up inside and instantaneously combust themselves to death?

:nono: You ain't right. :p:

I don't consider it overreaction when you are dominated in all phases of the game.

Some of the stuff people are saying may be a bit extreme, but I can understand folks being significantly upset and disappointed.

Yes however, in hindsight they are 20/20.... nobody should ignore 17 years of Sunday Cupcake Dinner and act like it's okay.

Most of the team's key players were right out there in 2010, quitting on Wade Phillips. Those same guys again were back at it at the end of 2011, completely folding (once more) in December. If there is any sort of "reaction" problem, it's with those who continually excuse and spin this teams dismal record since Jimmy Johnson's teams began to fall apart.

At some point you have to look at the core group of guys on this team, acknowledge they are hopelessly flawed, and move on. This organization needs an overhaul, top to bottom.

If you haven't seen this movie before then I don't know what to say.

Every year the happy fan posters tell other posters that they are over-reacting. Every year we end up as a completely non-competitive team by season's end.

I don't think we've seen it like that.

Usually we lose in some type of dramatic fashion thats never been done in the history of football.

Yesterday we just didn't show up to play football and got our *** kicked from the opening kickoff.

You forgot the "we are .... and ..... since 1996" or the "you are what your record says you are" threads

I just don't think this team is very good. Romo should have thrown 3 interceptions in the first game against the Giants. The offensive line is terrible. Romo and Murray are the only playmakers on offense. Dez is severely overrated. Miles and Witten are solid and reliable. The defensive line is not very good. Lee and Ware are the only playmakers on defense. I think the secondary will get exposed. Claiborne is still a work in progress and our safeties are solid but not great. The special teams is also awful. We're between a 6-10 and 10-6 team. Even if we make the playoffs we won't win. That being said, we will look amazing in some games this season. It happens every year. I remember when TO was here, we beat up on the undefeated Colts to take the division lead with like 3 games left and then we lost all 3 to miss the playoffs. It's Jekyll and Hyde. It's not an overreaction when it happens every year.

And what about the winning threads...we are going to the SB, the team has finally turned around....take the good with the bad. I normally look to the positive side, but after a dismal game like that, I'll express that too. I say 8-8 until they prove to me otherwise.

In a day or two, I'll be ready for Sunday to whip up on some Buccaneers...I'll probably be at the game too since I'll be back in town, and the tickets haven't sold. I need to remove them from the for sale list.

If you notice, they'll have the same types of games every year. They'll have the impressive win over one of the top 2-3 teams in the league. The dominant win over a bad team. The nail biter win over a division rival. The nail biter loss to a division rival. The come-from-behind win against one of the worst 2-3 teams in the league. The upset loss to a bad team. The dominating loss to a division loss. You'll notice a pattern. The Seattle game yesterday was quite different because I've never seen such a dominating loss to a non-division rival. But you can pull up all the wins and losses over the past 5-6 years and match up identical wins/losses from each season.

right, not denying this at all. Happens way too often.
I was just trying to say after a loss...we get all those type of threads...but after a win....we get another type...

And that is fine, I'll jump in on all of them now and then. It's the blind hate for a player and the blame gets put on him, and not the team. Those are the annoying threads.

Did you watch the Giants game and the Eagles game the last few years?

It is what it is.

Last week we had overreactions the other way, as rabid Garrett supporters descended in droves and declared after one week that if you can't see the change in culture, etc. that Garrett has effected then you are blind/stupid/a marmot.

I feel like today's blowback is appropriate. We just got dismantled by a Pete Carroll team.

Before I go on, I just want to say that I normally start being harsh when we're closing in on a losing season, so I will contain myself for now.

All around the board we pretty much stunk it up. Special teams, defense, offense. The crowd actually beat up on the Cowboys most of the game. How can a crowd absolutely own a team like they did the Cowboys? Unbelievable.

The offense didn't know what was going on, the defense couldn't figure out the rookie, Felix Jones wants to be the number 1 back, so since he's not, he's quit.

Time for Tampa
