He is now posturing. He will not be convinced by reason once his mind is set.

You'll likely get a deflection like, "I was being sarcastic," or some new complexity red herring if you push.

Let them have their mindset. They seem to need it for some reason that has nothing to do with the game of football.

Give it another year and Overshown will get the same treatment as Dak, Micah and Trevon. Who would all be getting crucified if was one of them.

Might take two years since he's under contract for cheap through 2026, but if he has to miss all of 2025 because of his injury, I'm sure he'll get labeled as fragile and some fans will want him gone.

We tend to want our players gone once they are set to receive market value, especially if that value is high because they are one of the best at their position.

If I was heading into the draft as an NFL prospect I would pray (as futile as that is) to not be picked by Dallas and they’d have to blow my socks off to get me there as a free agent.

And thankfully for us all I am not in either of those positions.
