Overshown targeting Thanksgiving return

Dallas's medical doctors are supposed to be a highly reputable group.
With that said, I hope Overshown does not return until he is fully one hundred percent physically, mentally and emotionally ready.

That last Sunday would be a 10 day break between games.
Sorry. After our bye week we play Monday, Sunday, Thursday, Thursday.

Monday 11-17 to 12-4. Pretty sure that includes the first 3 games in 11 days and the 4th totaling up to 18 days.

For some reason, if we are injury free up to that point, we definitely will not be afterwards.

if he’s targeting thanksgiving then he wouldn’t be playing the sunday before

First paragraph sounds like Appalonia claiming to know English.

:D

It would make zero sense for him personally to rush back. A set back or re-injury could be mentally devastating, if not career threatening.

Sunday, Thursday, Thursday is 11 days.

Then add another Sunday and it is 4 games in 18 days.

And people wonder way Dallas typically collapses late Nov/Dec.
If he plays Thanksgiving he isn't playing that first Sunday. He would play Thursday, Thursday and then a week from Sunday

To me it would be moronic to brink him back for maybe a third of a season

IR him for this year; let him spend his time until Training Camp 2026 carefully getting back to what he was.

Fair enough, I get your point. Personally I think its overblown, but a lot of people would disagree with me on that. Many teams play 3 games in 11 days, its just the nature of having Thursday football. Most are Sunday/Sunday/Thursday instead of Sunday/Thursday/Thursday so I could see some argument that the 7 day break after a short week isnt ideal, but all still 3 in 11.

If 3rd place is looming at that point, I agree 100%......but if its still close, who knows what they will decide with him.

May have to protect him from himself at that time

4 in 17 makes it significantly worse.

Also we have Monday, Thur, Thur so that is 3 in technically 10 days.

The correct approach is to act like DeMarvion Ohitsblown isn't even on the roster.

If he's looking to return on Thanskgiving that means he's targeting surgery by Christmas.
