Im sorry you were there. Hopefully you didn't have to eat there lolI was down at the burger joint. There was some player there... dont know who he was. But he certainly was full of himself.
When you talk about the In and Out menu for 5 minutes, you don't belong at UT...lol
Several possible reasons why he wasn’t top 5. He was seen a a tweener at LB/Edge. there were also concerns about his character from the hazing incidents, and attitude. He also opted to not play his 2020 season before any decision by the Big Ten concerning Covid had been made and that could have left some GMs with a bad taste in their mouths. If anyone knew he was going to be the pass rusher he’s become he would’ve been a top five pick.
It’s happened plenty of times, especially with receivers. Where have you been? The Cowboys had a receiver in the early 2000s whose name escapes me. He had real good size, around 6‘2“ 230 pounds and reportedly ran under a 4.2 40. The Cowboys loved his potential. He was lighting it up in training camp one summer. Practically every camp report had him as the standout player. He was catching everything! Once the preseason games started he completely disappeared. He had several drops and couldn’t get open. The Cowboys held onto him for a couple of years and he never amounted to anything when given an opportunity in games. The Cowboys had another receiver named Stepfret Williams back in the mid to late 90s. Troy Aikman loved him! He had nothing but rave reviews about Williams during his rookie training camp. He was another receiver who looked terrific in camp, but didn’t show up in games. The Cowboys cut him after two seasons. Early reports last summer in camp was that Jalen Tolbert was looking great. Once preseason started he didn’t show up. He did absolutely nothing last season. Are you actually insinuating that a player could look good in a handful of T.C. practices, and then not amount to anything in real games? When has that EVER happened before in the NFL?
You sir, are partaking in crazy talk.
There were a number of fans that didn’t like the pick. Read the second and fifth post just to name a couple. A lot of fans wanted a corner with that pick. It’s easy to say he had star written all over him after the fact. No one knew he was going to be as great as he has been or he would’ve been drafted much higher.Just asking who da hell wasn't happy with the Parsons pick ????? Not putting no one on the spot, but I seriously have to question someone's Football IQ if that be the case.
The kid had STAR written all over him !

Good luck trying to figure out who’s being sarcastic on this board. Lol I’ve hardly noticed you. Just checked your profile and you’ve been here less than a year. From the little I’ve seen of your posts you sound like one of those fans that isn’t that clued up about football. No offense, just being honest. If this is your idea of being sarcastic then okay. In my opinion you went a little too far with it.Are you actually insinuating that you didn't realize I was being sarcastic?
When have you EVER not realized that I was being sarcastic?
You sir, are into the crazy talk again
Don't you know that when players look good in training camp practices...it ALWAYS translates to actual games?

I'll make it more obvious next timeGood luck trying to figure out who’s being sarcastic on this board. Lol I’ve hardly noticed you. Just checked your profile and you’ve been here less than a year. You’ve been here 10 months I don’t know your posting history. Sarcasm doesn’t always translate well on a football post board that’s loaded with a lot of casual fans. You might want to make it more obvious the next time.I'll make it more obvious next time
Some of those posts are brutal. lolThere were a number of fans that didn’t like the pick. Read the second and fifth post just to name a couple. A lot of fans wanted a corner with that pick. It’s fun looking back on them. However, not so fun for some fans. Some of those posts are brutal. lol
Who threw the picks?2 nice interceptions yesterday. He has been outstanding in camp. He is very explosive. It looks to me that he is going to be outstanding as a rookie.
Both were off the hands of Luepke. One was from Dak and the other was from Rush or Grier.Who threw the picks?
Is there anyone that you dont think is outstanding as a rookie? Any rookie you willing to admit is having a bad camp?nice interceptions yesterday. He has been outstanding in camp. He is very explosive. It looks to me that he is going to be outstanding as a rookie.
Cam Chancellor comp?
I was the original parsons guy on here. I was even pushing for him as our first pick well before the draft when most wanted the TE or another WR.I told everybody that he was going to be a dominant pass rusher. How did I know that? It was from watching him and seeing the explosive strength and speed. The athletic ability.
Sorry, just was replying to the guy.I was the original parsons guy on here. I was even pushing for him as our first pick well before the draft when most wanted the TE or another WR.
Dont act like you were telling everyone.
It doesn't look like any are having a bad camp this year. However, I haven't been watching Richards. Joseph is a guy that I don't like and has been bad since he came in.Is there anyone that you dont think is outstanding as a rookie? Any rookie you willing to admit is having a bad camp?
