It's funny. Fans love Crawford because he gets constant pressure despite not getting sacks. Yet we hated Spencer his whole career, naming him Almost Anthony.

Well you said it yourself. Spencer has had a whole career while Crawford has had just one year and no training camp at his natural position. If he doesn't turn those pressures to more sacks this year then they'll turn on him too.

But nobody ever liked Spencer. Some started to come around in his later years (because they saw that Ware was beginning to decline). It took Spencer 7 years to get the respect that Crawford got in his first full training camp.

We never appreciated Spencer because we were spoiled with having Ware.
Right now we are desperate at the DL and are looking for ANY flashes of potential from players. Lucky Crawford.
