we were fine 2 years ago with TO. then we got Pacman and Tank, and everyone blames TO for the team sucking.

makes complete sense.

T.O's is just adding to all the drama in Dallas because I guess he hasn't caused enough drama. We've tried this being media ***** crap how about we give just playing and training for football a try. T.O isn't THE problem he's just adding to the problem which isn't any better. :starspin

Well VH1 is proving to be good at resurrecting tired celebrity personalities. Perhaps they can do something to also change the media perception of one of our own. This could be a good thing.

Terrell Owens is going to do one this summer on VH1, I've just been told.
According to the press release, "The series follows one of the NFL's biggest and most outspoken stars, wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys, Terrell "T.O." Owens. In the series, T.O. will be shadowed in the off-season by his best friends and publicists Monique Jackson and Kita Williams as they battle the two sides of his large personality. Viewers will discover that behind all the braggadocio, emotional histrionics, and sculpted physique that is the outspoken media magnet known to the world as "T.O." -- there is also a quiet, sensitive, mild-mannered guy from Alexander City, Alabama...that's Terrell."

Get your popcorn ready!

This is why I'm really starting to hate footbal and most of its players.... or maybe Im just getting old, and miss the old days, but this is just outright stupid already, ME ME ME ...how can I get on tv and how can I advertise myself .....Your football player just play ....and Win and all the glory will come....Let the bombs fly

NFL Network's Adam Schefter does not believe that Terrell Owens will be a Cowboy in 2009.
ESPN's Ed Werder and Mike Lombardi of the National Football Post reported Dallas was seriously considering cutting T.O. earlier this offseason. Schefter isn't reporting it, but seems convinced the other reports have merit. He hinted that Owens' new reality show may not sit well with the Cowboys.

The show should be embraced by Jerry Jones. He believes himself to be a marketing wiz and he has had great success promoting the team during his 20 years as owner. He could surely turn any advantage of the publicity which the show could generate to his advantage.

On the other hand, the show's success will be dependent upon whatever Terrell Owens may do or say during any given episode. Jones understands that he cannot control what Owens may do or say on his program. The potential for something to negatively impact his franchise because of the show, is a possibility which he may not feel entirely confortable about.

However, Jones is a gambler. He could profit from the exposure of the show or suffer negative media/viewer/fan backlash because of it as well. C'est la vie. He could be considered blind for not seeing this sort of thing possibly materializing in front of him someday at the time that he sign Owens, but he's not. He knew the risks going in and he'll deal with any problems as they may present themselves. He IS Jerry Jones, after all.

When will the Cowboys & TO get recognition for winning football games again?
It seems all they're good for nowadays are reality shows & controversy. Why not get credit for a few Lombardi's, instead of this irrelevant garbage that only JJ seems to love?
Btw- isn't it the GM's job to sign off on outside BS ventures like reality shows in the off-season? Yeah, I thought so......
