As of late, we have owned the Skins by beating them 14 out of 15 games. Now, Philly has owned us, does anyone know how many games we have won against Philly over the past 5 years?

I am glad we have a few weeks for philly.
By the time Philly game gets here the rooks should be a considerably more comfortable.
I think we are now built to challenge Philly , no matter what happens Monday.
Just need a little more game time for the pups.

Overlook the Commanders.

That is great. This contest will be very different than many of you expect.

I agree. I am relaxed. Takes an lot to get me upset and riled.

I look at predictions on both boards and shake my head. Thinking to myself that this game has the potential to be a classic. Win or lose.

It always cracks me up when I see people looking past ANY team. Much less one that knows you and HATES you.

I am not looking past your Skins one bit. In fact, I'm looking forward to kicking your butt Monday night. :D Why would any Cowboy want to look past Monday.

But in all honesty, the divisional games are always the setting for an upset. I don't really worry about the fans on here looking past the Skins, it's when I hear about the players looking past. Then I know we're in trouble.

Here's to a healthy game!

Whether we as fans overlook or do not overlook a team has no bearing on the game....it is whether the team itself overlooks an opponent that has bearing on the game.

With that said I never overlook another team, I have found it can be a recipe for an ego bruising :D

I laugh when I see fans of not only the cowboys, but the Commanders fans as well, saying or predicting a blowout by either team....sure it could happen but if the last many games that we have won or even the one we lost vs the skins it has almost always been a very close scoring game.

Same here, I'm predicting Dallas 17-10, both coaches are too good to let this become a blowout

If that were reverse, I said that on the Skins website aboout Dallas I would get banned.

The Commanders very well can win. Tough defense, maybe makes a few big plays. Id bet a lot on Dallas though...if I had any money. If The Redkins win they are beter than I thought, becasue Dallas is looking very good so far, and basically every radio show, magazine, espn show (Not saying much...I could be an analyst on ESPN) have Dallas in the playoffs, winning this game, and has the Commanders floating along mediocrity.
My reasoning is that Brunell is just a big of a problem as Ramsey, if not more. He has a very average group of WR's to work with, and a slightly abover average TE. Therefore leaving them with Clitnon Porits, who I expect to be held in check. 80-100 yards, and maybe a TD. Nothing back breaking and certainly managable for Dallas, and the sweet DL rotation. Id say the Commanders O VS Dallas D advantage Dallas

Bledsoe, who Im sure will get a handful of sacks, will make morep lays than Brunell, and htis game will come down to a handful of big plays, and mistakes by the other team. I think Julius runs jsut as well as CP, about 80-100 and maybe a TD, but Dallas has the advantage in WR's, TE's, and IMO O-line. Id say Dallas O VS Commanders D is advantage Skins. But Dallas scores enough to pull this out.

ST on both sides is below average. Dallas coeverage unit looks to get a boost with Keith Davis coming back, possibly Bradie James, and maybe Kevin Burnett (John? What do you know about that). But the Commanders have what looks to be a weorse kicker(Since we cut him on favor of Cortez). I think they are equal here. Maybe an edge to Washingotn if Moss returns kick...I hear Thrash will though.

My Prediction: Dallas 20- Washingotn 10.

If Washington wins, they made some big plays on defense bc I dont see Brunell lighting it up.

BP you and I are cooler (to not insult anyone) heads. Along with many others on both boards. We have had our jabs here and there about each others teams over the approximately 2 years I have been a member here. But typically we agree on a lot of subjects.

I know (in my heart) the Commanders wont overlook the Cowboys. Why wouold they ? The odds are against them.

I am hoping for a great game. One you and I can talk about for years to come. Win or lose.

First problem is reading into what the media says. What did the media say about the Commanders after they acquired Sanders, Smith, Carrier, George, etc ?

That team is one of the worst Commanders teams to ever set foot on the field.

Do you truly believe that the Cowboys WRs are superior ? How ? Look at stats. Stats dont mean everything but honestly they are about the same.

The whole Dallas O Vs. Commanders D thing doesnt make any sense at all. You say advantage skins, but the Cowboys score enough. ? ? Sorry but it doesnt add up.

Brunell may indeed be as Parcells' says "a bus driver". But when you have the type of defense that the Commanders have and the type of rushing attack that the Commanders have anything can happen.

The same can be said for the Cowboys, except that the Cowboys are in a "new" defense.

Keyshawn Johnson, Terry Glenn, Patrick Crayton, Peerless PRice are better than Trrash, Moss, and Patten. Bottom line. Im on another forum, and a whole slew of Commanders fans agree.

I think the Dallas offense, via better field position, better punter, score 20, which isnt lighting it up, im sure the league average of points is around 21ish (?)

Brunell and Ramsey are problems. Do bus drivers have QB ratings in the 60's?

Brunell is among the top 20 rated QBs of All-Time. Lets start at the bottom.

You can go on and on about the Dallas Wrs. Truth be told they are old (Johnson), Blind (Price), Broken (Glenn), and unproven, but seems good (Crayton).

Take your slew of Commanders fans on the ESPN board and bring them here so I can one by one get them banned for being idiots.

How do the Cowboys have a better punter ? The Commanders punter is young and unproven that doesnt mean he sucks (see Crayton).

Key was so old he caught 2 TD's. Please, thast the dog ate my HW of Dallas arguments.

Is Glenn broke now?

Price must be really lucky to catch 95 passes being blind and all.

Crayton looks to be the real deal, sorry.

And you have

Moss- one play wonder, big play maybe once in a while, then takes a nap.
Patten- Not impressed
Trash-trash

Also Witten > Cooley

Sorry, you can argue other things, I think this is cut and dry.

And its not an ESPN board, and theres no need to ban them for being honest. This is one most reasonable Commanders fans wont even bother to argue

I didnt say you punter sucks, but Mcbriar is considered a pro bowl candidate. Your guy isnt.

haha, of course the Commanders punter wouldnt be considered a pro-bowler. He has barely played.

Price caught 95, In Buffalo with Bledsoe, yeah that was recently. Yet he cant even crack the top 3 for the Cowboys ? Hmm...

Key had 2 TDs ? And that makes him younger and better ?

Glenn is just an accident waiting to happen. Just like Ramsey is a turnover waiting to happen.

What did I say about Crayton ? R.I.F., I said unproven but seems good.

Key is getting it done, bottom line, this isnt a track meet. He doesnt need speed, he still has great hands, great size, long arms, and knows how to get position. If we offered him you guys would be drooling, and dont even say you wouldnt.

OK, and Glenn will be playing on monday...sorry.

Sean Taylor is an accident waiting to happen too.

We just acquired Peerless Price, this isnt Madden, he needs time to learn the plays, develop with the team, and then he can prove himself. Also, what does it say for the rest of the group if he is #3 or #4.

Im sure you guys still hate Crayton, That had to burn, beat your 2 "All Pro" (In Skins fans eyes) players. But hes the real deal. Total package.

That game in 1999, isnt that the one where we faked the field goal to win the game. I think it was a handoff to richie cunningham, and he went like 20 somethin yards for the TD. Its a win but...

And the 2003 win, Randal Williams makes his only impact as a cowboy in what was really a fluke play.

They are wins, and i dont mean to be a jack@$$ but, philly has owned us as much as i hate to say it.
