Oxnard here I come

Fortunately my daughter will be attending USC in the fall...that should be enough for any father ! Also, checkin is the week of August 17th ! So I will be in LA and get a chance to go to Cowboys training camp. Any do's and don'ts from the cowboys faithful ?? Once in a lifetime chance for this East coast fan.

I had the same type situation back when the Cowboys practiced in Austin. I took my daughter to the U of Texas for school. I was stationed in Virginia at the time, so I had to stay in Austin for a couple of days to ensure I was rested for the long ride back . It was fun watching Jimmy Johnson do his thing along with the Triplets and the rest of the gang. I hope you enjoy your experience as much as I did mine!

Don't forget to take your golf clubs. The two courses adjacent to the practice field are outstanding. Incredible SoCal views abound!

I am not a USC fan but I will tell you this.... If one of my kids went there, I would become on overnite. Congratulations to her Dex but 10x to her for putting in the work. Be proud!

The drive along the PCH to Oxnard is amazing, a little longer but worth the trip IMO.

Did that trip about 10 years ago! Maybe I'm a little different, but that is definitely a bucket list item. Did it with an old friend of mine who was in the Navy and stationed in San Diego at the time. San Diego to Olympic National Park in 3-days and then camped 4-days. Good times man!

The PCH is probably the best drive in the US IMO. SD(Santa Monica really) to Oxnard is nice, but it gets way better the further North you go....as you have witnessed

It gets better than Santa Monica to Oxnard?! Wow, I can't wait to do it then, because Santa Monica to Oxnard was awesome. I took the rental car up into the canyons of Mulholland Highway and then out to the ocean and cruised on up from there. Amazing views.

For sure....Big Sur to Pacifica is my favorite part. And just as good North of SF all the way to Oregon
