oxnard training camp????

hey im planning to go to onxard for a weekend and watch the cowboys training camp.... does anybody know if there is any fun stuff to do in oxnard?? any beaches close by?

Oxnard is pretty desolate. I'd make my way just North to Santa Barbara for anything interesting.

Some ideas.... you can take a scenic drive down the coast through Malibu, go to LA to the various movie studio and amusement parks, Ventura has a fairly nice marina with shops and restaurants...

Take CA Highway 1 (Pacific Coast Highway) south to Malibu/Santa Monica, and you'll see about 50 miles of beaches. Malibu is 25 miles long along PCH. My fave spots are the beaches on the Northern portion of Malibu... Point Dume beach, Zuma beach and North from there.

first couple of weeks they go Sat and Sunday. But Sunday practice could be a lite workout, maybe shells. Depends how hard they practiced the day before usually.

I live in L.A and the only thing worth going near Oxnard are the outlet malls. It's a few miles down south of their training camp. If you're taking your wife then it should be no problem for her.

L.A is still a good 45-50 minutes away from TC.
