I personally dont get the reason why, PacMan has made this such a big deal. He is cut, then decides to sue ESPN after the fact and then goes on to do an exclusive interview where he doesnt reveal much to begin with, or even try to defend himself. It sounds like he is playing his name to get himself a contract with someone.

Then on ESPN's side, they give their side of the story which inclues a whole lotta BS IMO. They use a whole bunch of hearsay and hidden identity individuals as well as their own "investigation" to rule that PacMan was guilty of something. Which I think was unnecessary for their story other than a shock factor. If the police couldn't find a link to prosecute the guilty parties involved that include PacMan, what makes them think that their investigation proves that PacMan was involved.

Sigh.

Maybe because PacMan is hanging out with a guy who he says falsely accused him of extortion in a murder-for-hire attempt?

Would you do that, i.e., hang out with a guy who tries to get your thrown in jail by making up a story that you hired him to shoot someone?

Cmon, people.

I am not arguing for PacMan here, i simply am asking why ESPN had to prove a point that in fact, PacMan was lying about it in the first place. PacMan made a dumbarse move when he decided to fabricate a story like this. We all know that there are some definite thugs in the NFL, PacMan and Steve Smith being two of them.

I ask why ESPN spent 30 minutes of programming time on a Sunday morning to state something that was already proven, like it was news to them 5 days after PacMan was cut?
