Packers & Washington play this week as well

If I had gone to bed at the half last night and got up this morning and found out that the Bears won that game I would have wondered who killed Farve at halftime. They were KILLING the Bears. They had almost 400 yards of offense in the first half, and then Brett reverted back to "BAD BRETT" and threw just a crazy pick to Urlacher.

2 fumbles early in the game did not help matters either. I agree with Madden that GB could have put this game away early but 2 costly fumbles kept the Bears in this game.

This game will tell us if the skins are for real or if Detroit just crapped the bed against them. It should be a good game but I think Green Bay will have trouble against the skin's D. Favre may revert back to the turnover machine he has been for 2-3 years. I also see the skin's O having trouble. I guess I see it as a defensive slugfest with Green Bay having a slight edge because they're at home.

In no way is Green Bays defense over-rated and from what i've seen from Washington they are pretty stout too but Green Bay is better on D.

Green Bay is getting a good pass rush, excellent cornerback play, and their linebackers are a fun young group to watch.

That Barnett kid is going to be a Pro Bowler eventually imo.

Campbell will lose the game for the Stinks...he's not that good at home, much less on the road. Also, the Stinks will get hit with alot of penalties as soon as the going gets tough...

I agree. I think the Packers were in a position to take the life out of the Bears but early turnover kept the Bears in the game and allowed them to hang around. When going up against desperate teams I think it is important to jump on them early and take any hope out of their players. GB failed to do that and the Bears started to believe they could win.

I think are pretty good. Not overrated at all. They tackle pretty well, their corners are covering well and up front they seem to be very good.

Oh, I think they're a solid group. There's just nothing special about them. They don't get amazing pressure or have great corners or an all-pro linebacking corps. They're just solid guys that do their job.

People just seem to be touting them as some great defense. Yet Chicago, one of the worst offenses in the league, put up 27 points on them. They're good but pretty far from a "really good" or even "great" defense.

If it were in Washington, I would definitely say that the Commanders would win but I'm not sure. I don't think Green Bay will lose two times in a row at home.

I'd give GB a slight edge at home. And, I hope they win because the following week Washington hosts Arizona. If they beat GB they'll be 5-1 following the Arizona game.

I dunno man I really like Green Bays DE's, Linebackers, and corners.

Barnett is a stud at LB and AJ Hawk will get better and better.

i think washington will win. i think washington and the giants are better than gb.

Washington will have to score against the Packers defense. While Washington is making strides forward in that aspect, I'm not convinced they can do it against a good defense like Green Bay's. On the otherside of the ball, the Commanders' D is looking better, but as long as Favre's still the QB, they should be able to score. (that is, if he doesn't have a receiver that fumbles the ball twice in one game again!!)

Top it off with the fact it's at Lambeau field. Give me Green Bay.

I agree. I will also say they got hosed on a call on Chicago's first field goal attempt. They made the FG, but the NT was flagged for being lined up directly across from the center? Chicago got a first down on the 5 yard penalty and scored their first TD. I have never seen that call before, and really didn't think he was lined up across from the center.

Not sure how hot the Commanders are, they blew the game vs the Giants before winning over the Lions this week. so in their last 2 outings they are 1 and 1. I don't know if I would consider that hot.
