Oh, I think they're a solid group. There's just nothing special about them. They don't get amazing pressure or have great corners or an all-pro linebacking corps. They're just solid guys that do their job.

People just seem to be touting them as some great defense. Yet Chicago, one of the worst offenses in the league, put up 27 points on them. They're good but pretty far from a "really good" or even "great" defense.

Turning the ball over doesn't only make it where your offense can't score, it wears on the defense. Five turnovers equal five more possessions the defense must stop. The Bears defense is still good, and forcing five turnovers keeps them off the field. James Jones two fumbles knocked the air out of the Packers. Favre's first INT was the death blow. After that, the Packers were flat. Of course, once Favre threw the INT, you knew he was going to throw another one. He almost NEVER throws only one INT in a game.

Just lost at HOME to the Giants beat the Lions at HOME and you call that HOT?

Truth be told Washington played one really bad quarter of football that kept them from being 4-0. I think Washington is really close to being a good football team and have a shot at beating Greenbay on the road.

Washington is struggling with injuries right now and the key will be how Moss and Randle El progress this week.

Should be a decent game. Both defenses are pretty even (and overrated). But the Packers offense is much better than the Commanders. It's hilarious seeing people go nuts about a decent game against the Lions. That defense is horrible. Campbell will be lucky to throw 200 yards in this game.

24-14, Green Bay.

Just wondering why you think our defense is overrated? The reason I am asking is because 1.) We have given up 4 touchdowns all year and it is not exactly like we have played terrible offenses. 2.) our defense is currently overall the third best in the NFL and we are a quarter of the way through the season and 3) To have an overrated defense people have to be talking up and raving about the defense, this has not happened...yet

Not trying to troll, just wondering why you believe our defense to be "overrated"

To be honest, Randle Third Back has surprised me with his play. Of course, we are talking about the Lions defense here. The Commanders have played decent defenses all season up until they played the Lions. Miami (before getting broke down by the Cowboys offense), Giants, and Eagles. They haven't exactly lit up those defenses on offense. That is until they met the Lions. Green Bay is a pretty good defense and I fully expect the Commanders to return to their offensive struggles against the Packers next week.

I was surprised that the Skins held Detriot's passing offense in check though. Detriot is 30th in rushing offense and that helped the Skins. I'm sure they will cause trouble for the Packers passing only offense also, but the difference between the Packers and the Lions is what I said. Defense. The Commanders aren't going to drop 30+ on the Pack.

The reason you're not giving up a lot of yards is because teams aren't passing on you (approximately 300 less pass attempts than the league average). They're not passing on you because your offense isn't exactly potent.

I think Brett Favre and the Packers have officially started their losing streak. Reality is setting in.

Washington probably win this one.

Its the NFL, who isn't struggling with injuries. Look at our injuries to key players since opening day. I don't know about that 1 bad qtr of football either. The Fins took them to OT at HOME and McFlabb missed a rack of open recievers.. I'm not sold on them being all that good. Sorry!!!!

Talk about getting screwed on your schedule lol.

They play back to back road games 3 TIMES!!!

Looks like Washington's schedule gets a lot tougher starting next week. They go to New England in two weeks, and Arizona is no gimmee anymore either.

I don't see Green Bay beating Washington, even before last night's meltdown, they don't have a running game, so Washington doesn't have to focus that much attention on stopping it, I think their front 4 could do that, and will play alot of guys back in coverage, and Favre is bound to screw up

I think both teams are stellar on defense, suspect on offense.

Huh!? That number seems a little steep. Where exactly are you getting those numbers from?

The Skins have been passed on 149 times, and the Cowboys have been passed on 147 times -- the Skins have been passed on more, and they've even had a bye week.

Not exactly sure where you're going with this one...
