On TV right now...for those interested...NFL Network

I remember that game like it was yesterday.

Jerry brought in Michael Buffer to do his, "Leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetttttttttttssssss get ready to Rummmmmmmmmmmmmbbbble"!

HAHA YES!

There were some vicious hits in the game. Darren Woodson knocking the GB player while out of bounds and knocking the coach out unfortunately. I am trying to remember didn't that guy end up paralyzed or die I can't remember. Emmitt got tackled while out of bounds a few times and was pushed into the kickers' goal. Chop blocking Jurko was pretty vicious. This is the kind of stuff you wouldn't be able to get away with today.

Wow...a bunch of Hall of Famers on that field. Reggie White, Charles Haley, Emmitt Smith. That was soo long ago.

It makes the fact that Favre is still playing more surreal.

I just downloaded the rematch of this game from the 96 season where we beat them again.

96 was the year we beat both Super Bowl teams without scoring a touchdown!

What did happen to that guy?

My Tivo recorded the game. That whole sequence from Larry Brown intercepting the ball, to Irvin's long catch, then Emmitt's TD was electric. I don't think the fans in Texas Stadium ever got like that again up until it's end.

:lmao2:

The funniest part was watching Reggie White - "The Minister of Defense" almost kill the camera man behind him with a few minutes left in the game.

He wanted to soak in his misery off of the camera...

Also, those Cowboys played nasty with an attitude. Erik Williams owned Reggie White on that day...made him his boy.
