Packers vs. Cards Thread

The Cards defense can't stop the run or pass which means Green Bay will be playing in the NFC championship

The 90s Buffalo Bills would disagree with that statement (yes I know they lost 4 consecutive Super Bowls)

I had them in mind when typing it, but they were an exception and they always got blown out by NFC teams in the SB, who were strong defensively..
The Oilers had the run and shoot, but they always folded and couldn't get it done.. The spread was a gimmick..

DBs could play aggressively, so it's obvious that up tempo could be flustered..

The AFC was pretty weak during those eras.. Remember the NFC conference finals was the real SB..

Very disappointed in the Cardinal D.

They keep allowing them to hang around.

All the whining about getting a real number 2 receiver..... It doesn't matter when you have a real QB and a real offensive coordinator. Green Bay doing just fine with a bunch of scrub receivers.

Outside of the first SB vs. the Giants, which came down to a missed FG, the Bills were playing against better teams in the other 3 SB's. The Bills losing wasn't a surprise.

And their scoring, even against the Giants, was dramatically low despite putting up numbers during the season against AFC opponents. They were always stifled in the SB in particular..

They were a great team though.. An exception..

That Cardinals OL playing atrocious.. That's why mistakes such as the drop in first are so crucial.. Second and long makes it that much more brutal..

It would be hysterical for the amazing Arians to start his head coaching career 0-2 in the playoffs

That is true, but this is about as creative as I have seen Capers this year.

He's calling an aggressive game which is a lot different from how it was last time they played.

These teams arent impressive. Cowboys are right there. Now greenbay will be alot better with jordy colming back next year

Arians was a little bold at the beginning as well on the blitzes by the DBs.. Rodgers was doing a good job adjusting and keeping the drives alive..
