... I actually would have preferred the detroit rematch for payback purposes, but I think Atlanta is actually the best first round matchup we could have.

Hopefully we get to see it happen.

All we gotta do now, is punch our own ticket. :starspin

Whoever wins tonight looks like will be inviting Atlanta to play. With their score against Tampa looks like they will have the 5 spot, since Detroit lost. How does everyone feel about that?

Ask us again in about seven hours.

The way Detroit's offense has been playing, I am happy to avoid them. We match up much better vs. Atlanta when they have the ball.

On the other hand, I think Saints vs. Detroit will be an awesome wildcard game, likely seeing both teams get into the 40s.

Falcon tastes just like chicken.

the question is how do you like newman or alan ball vs julio jones or rody white:bang2: how does alan ball seem to get matched up vs other teams number 1 wr in man coverage is beyond me. We should never ask ball to play other teams number 1's or 2's unless an injury at cb happens. I seen too much ball this season....and too much soft newman.

I think we match up well with any team outside of Philly. For whatever reason, they give us fits. We tend to compete down to the wire with most other teams. I was not impressed with the defense of the Lions and Packers. I think the Saints and Niners are the most dangerous teams in the playoffs.

Welcome Atlanta to town? They fly through Dallas on the way to New York?

I agree- although there is something about that Detroit loss that makes me feel queasy about playing them again. Stafford just put up 500+ yards and 5 TDs on a much better defense than ours.

I agree that the Saints and Niners are probably peaking at the right time, while the Packers defense will come back to haunt them.

Let's hope we take care of business tonight and take advantage of this opportunity.

Are you speaking from personal experience?

How are they even a better defense than us? Let alone much better?

I like how people diss our defense without even dishing out facts. Here's a fact we're top 10 in points allowed Green Bay isn't. Try again.

Man I don't know, Turner can just run over the middle of our defense and if he gets to the secondary, forget about it, Jenkins and Newman will set land speed records backpedaling from contact...
