Packers win... barring a huge collapse... playoff opponent is Atlanta **MERGE**

Care to expatiate?

How are they even a better defense than us? Let alone much better?

I'm taking into account 3 things:

* Packers won a SB with the same defense last year
* They went 15-1 this year, which means their defense came through when it mattered most, in the fourth quarter
* We are 8-7 mostly because our defense hasn't been able to stop even average offenses in the 4th quarter.

I know that there are some numbers that show our defense to be statistically better than theirs, but our defense has been weak going back to last year.

I hope you guys beat up the Giants. Whenever there is this much thought that a team has no chance to win, that is when that team just plays lights out and wins the game.

I think you guys win tonight.

Anyone who doesn't think we have a chance really doesn't know football at all.

GB's backup QB Matt Flynn is another reason why we should use a late draft pick on a QB.

GB will most definitely get first round trade offers for Matt Flynn.

Man I don't know, Turner can just run over the middle of our defense and if he gets to the secondary, forget about it, Jenkins and Newman will set land speed records backpedaling from contact...

We played them well last time around with virtually the same personnel on our defense (2009). Out of all NFC playoff teams, the Falcons are the ones I would most like to face in round 1.

It's all in the method. You can make a turd taste good if you fry it and drown it in mustard.
Hey, if you want to explain your diet, find a forum for it.

... I actually would have preferred the detroit rematch for payback purposes, but I think Atlanta is actually the best first round matchup we could have.

Hopefully we get to see it happen.

Atlanta is a better match for Dallas. Detroit's offense today was simply awesome, and I doubt Dallas' ability to stop or even slow it down.

FWIW.... saw a tweet that mentioned DET-NO likely to be the Saturday night game, so NFCE winner is leaning towards a Sunday game....of course, it's only a report, nothing solid, but it does makes sense.

That stinks! I love the Saturday night atmosphere and was hoping to go to the game. I may not be able to make it if the game is Sunday. I have a 7 hour drive each way.

Ask us again in about seven hours.

Red needs to start opening the playbook right now. We're not going to hold these guys to nothing defensively.

We need a TD and need to march down that field right now.

We'll be wiped out if we don't.

Right now.
