Didn't he cut Pac Man after one yearThis highlights a big problem with Jerry when it comes to team building.
He won't give up on players when he should move on.
I'm all for helping guys off the field, but it's okay to move on from them on the field.
I think he got in trouble and suspended for a whole season didn't he?Didn't he cut Pac Man after one year
Agree with this 100%.This highlights a big problem with Jerry when it comes to team building.

100%.He gets too involved at times on a personal level. Makes friends with some players, keeps guys cause he wants to be right about them panning out etc...
It's good from a non football perspective as I do think he cares, but as the GM, it clouds their judgement often, IMO.
Yep, Look at Randy. This highlights a big problem with Jerry when it comes to team building.

me 2. Jerry went soft. Wildcat Jerry is in a museum that we call the Star in Frisco. That is the truthThis made me cringe.
Great owner, bad GM. And since the GM determines the success on the field, its all moot how much they all love Jerry. Can say what you want about the owner but players have always spoke highly of Jerry. And to his credit he never brags about the stuff he does you usually hear it from the players.
We do need a real GM.100%.
If he wants to play this role then focus on that and let a real GM build the team.
I am all for owners helping players off the field, it's commendable.I read the story where Mark Cuban got Delonte West off the street and into rehab. I wish there were more stories like it out there
Cant have a GM that is a fan of the players. That is essentially what jerry is.We do need a real GM.
NFL has gotten too competitive to have an amatuar running the show.
