During filming of TO-Pacman battle yesterday, Ed Werder reorted that the Commish would inform the Cowboys before the first cut (around Aug 26) whether Jones will be reinstated. This being done to allow Cowboys to make informed decisions regarding their roster, etc.

Obviously, we all hope/believe that Pacman will be fully reinstated particularly in light of the battles and competitiveness being played out in Cowboys TC. You got to know that Jerry Jones was just loving what was going on the field, the crowd and the attention the TO-Pacman battle was getting on ESPN as well.

Hopefully with some other player making dumb decisions, Goodell will let Jones have his shot.

At this point if Goodell doesn't reinstate Jones, the reaction from the media and fans would get ugly. Goodell can't want that. With all the primetime games we have and national exposure we get Goodell will allow Jones to play week one. Book it!

That is good news for the Cowboys and a fair decision by the Commish.

I need to research the cut down dates and add them to the calendar.

I'll breathe a sigh of relief when it happens....

Though, I expect him to be reinstated....this is Der Fuhrer Goodell.

I don't trust him.

Never have.

I could see him looking at the recent stuff with othe players and coming to the conclusion that its too risky to allow someone with multiple infractions back on the field.

I would think that Goodell would be thrilled to have a story of a player on the wrong track who was able to turn things around.

I'm sure unless he screws up between now and then that he'll be fully reinstated by that time. I can't see how he wouldn't be at this point.

Pacman only has to keep his nose clean for one more month. How hard is that? Lets face it guys, with all the crap Pacman did and was around for so long, if I was the Commish I would make him wait as well.

Man, if this guy is fully reinstated, then I expect a huge year out of Henry. He has had no competition for his spot up until now, so I bet that guy plays lights out through injury and whatever else comes his way. Who else has a four deep group of CB's like Dallas does right now? I am sooo excited to see some "coverage sacks" this year!
