I agree with the Commish waiting a few more weeks. If Pacman can't keep clean that long, he's in serious trouble & we don't need him but I sure would be real disappointed.
I'm beginning to wonder if Pacman (even tho young & with multiple legal problems in his past) may give us something else in the locker room/on the playing field which I never gave a thought too. This is beyond his CB duties, his return capabilities & even the possibility he could help a little in the offense. No, I'm thinking the competitive fire he's shown so far in TC could not only carry over into the regular season but also serve to ignite this team to greater heights late in the season & throughout the playoffs, etc.
Some would label this idea ridiculous and I'm more then willing to admit at this point in TC it's probably dumb. It's just that he and TO (who are really true competitors & they chose to tangle it up with each) provided some real fire in the belly Sunday. To win in the playoffs/SB, a team must have a lot of talent, play physically & very good, have good leadership & the chemistry/fire in the belly which binds them together to strain and reach for that win.
Jerry as added some vet leadership in Zack Thomas, we've retained those players we need, we've added young talent like Felix, Jenkins, Bennett, Choice, Scandrick & even Walden & maybe even 1-3 undrafted FAs but what about the chemistry and fire in the belly. Admit I don't understand what chemistry means/brings to the game. I thought we admirably displayed it often during the regular season by going 13-3; and despite the media talking about potential chracter/ego problems while citing TO, Tank Johnson, Pacman, Romo & Jessica along with Ellis/Glenn, I've heard little to nothing to support the media/other teams hopes we will implode. So I'll leave that for someone else to explain. But as for fire in the belly, maybe just maybe Mr. Adam "pacman" Jones brings along a little extra bit of that "really, really hate to lose attitude" with us many onfield talents.
