Don't be surprised if Jerry blinks. He does that about as often as he says "um, smack, er, um." There have already been several updates from various media outlets reporting that Jerry has upped the offer.

I agree to a certain extent. What I meant by blink, for now, is to stick with the updated offer and stick to his guns.

I think with this latest offer Jerry has reached the "end game" point in the negotiations. I think now we are just waiting for a yes or no from the Titans. If no then I truly believe that Jerry just moves on and waits for Pacman to be released (an almost certain inevitability).

Fasano may be worth something to Tuna (sorry I meant Ireland), Davis is BPA you pick him instead of reaching and trade Fasano to Tuna.

:starspin I was thinking the same thing in terms of Parcells possibly being interested in Fasano, who knows.

Looks like a tactical move. Once he's reinstated he may generate more interest around the league and thus the Titans ask for more. It's better for the Cowboys to deal for him while he is still suspended.

It seems like he and his agent are doing everything possible to make him a Cowboy.

This is how I see it too.

The Titans were hoping he'd be reinstated which would in turn raise his value to the rest of the league - and drive up their asking price.

And I think Jones and his people recognized this and felt that it would make the trade to Dallas more difficult. That's why they've delayed applying for reinstatement, to call Tennessee's bluff and force the Titans' hands now.

Yeah, that move by Jones doesn't add any pressure to the Titans.
