I would love to see the Cowboys official site have tons of data available to Cowboys fans:

Complete stats for every player who ever played for the Cowboys, including all of the "unofficial" stats they used to keep back in the day, like sacks for instance.

I would also like to see game-by-game stats for each player (NFL.com has finally done this for some players).

A list of all the players who were with the team in training camp/pre-season but didn't end up making the team (all of this info is somewhere in their offices).

Lists of all the coaches, assistant coaches, etc. that have ever worked for the Cowboys.

A list of all the trades that we have ever been involved in, what we gave up, what we got, who we selected with the draft picks we received, etc., including recent trades with draft picks still pending.

A complete salary cap breakdown like the one on that Patriots site.

And anything else we can think of that we might want to see.


They could set the tone for all NFL teams just like we have always done.

Nope, for various reasons. It wouldn't benefit me at all, and I'm not going to turn the information I get from my source into a money-making (or money-costing) thing. It also would be a lot of work, and I already spend time now and then helping out guys like that with cap information and answering their questions. I don't even get around to answering all of them most of the time.

If there's anything specific people want about the Cowboys, I probably can post it in the salary cap thread (in the Daily Zone) -- if it's not too much work.

I don't blame you, it would be a tone of work. And then there's the source thing..... Just thought those sites were cool and as Cowboys crazies i know we'd all love something like that. Maybe someday someone will do one for the Boys? Anyway, i know we all really appreciate what you do here already.

Adam is a great resource for us here and I for one wouldn't want to wear him out with having to keep up a web page. I would much rather see the team put that info out where everyone can get to it than for us fans to have to dig it up.

I mean really, what are we paying Jerry for anyway?
