They run a horizontal passing offense, it really defies the game. A quick defense that can tackle well can shut that offense out. If you minus Sproles, this offense doesn't move.Honestly, it's like watching an Alex Smith led offense.
But he made the throws to win the game!

They may be good but they also have the most difficult remaining schedule in the league...
What next on tap for the iggles? Try:
@Giants
vs. Falcons
@Seahawks
vs. Packers
Dak played better late. Wentz did nothing late.This is exactly why I am optimistic about this team. Dak played poorly to be honest compared to Wentz who played well. What does it mean if Dak actually played well? Blow out!
Then we played poorly against a good team, and won anyway.
We played poorly BECAUSE they are a good team, or at least they're really good on defense and special teams. Not at all sold on their offense. But a good defense makes a good offense look bad, and that's what they did to the Cowboys tonight. It wasn't a coincidence.I was unimpressed with Philly, as bad as the Boys played they found a way to win in the end. They are a decent team but this game isn't close without all the mistakes
You might just be onto something there jim.We played poorly BECAUSE they are a good team...It wasn't a coincidence.
Wentz was pretty good. I think that offense design is flawed though. They look like KC out there throwing slants and only 5 yard passes
Philly isnt that good. Wentz isnt close to being the qb Dak is. Without the penalties and sloppy ST play tongiht this game is a blowout. Eagles had nothingThat being said, the Boys dug in, dug down, and dug out of a nasty hole to win this tough division tilt in overtime, no less! Dak was looking really wobbly for the majority of the game. Who knows why? Division game? Eagles rep? Having Wentz on the other side and wanting to prove that he is a better player than Wentz? Dez being back and wanting to get him in the game more? Whatever the case, the man put it all aside and came through in the clutch. Very good game and well, damn, I don't think we will go undefeated for the rest of the year but I'm hard pressed to pick a team that I think straight up beats us. Maybe Minnesota? Anyway, happy as a clam and looking forward to the rest of this year.
Eh, their front 7 is good. Their receivers suck. Aside from Sproles, their RB's are trash.

Cause he isn't very good deep. Going through progressions isn't a skill Wentz possess, although he has done better with it. Wentz is over hyped and Dak is the better QB.....so farWhy do you trade everything you did to get the QB with probably the best arm in the draft only to have him run a high school offense where you don't make a throw more than 10 yds downfield?
(Puts mic in @Risen Star face). Well, answerWhy do you trade everything you did to get the QB with probably the best arm in the draft only to have him run a high school offense where you don't make a throw more than 10 yds downfield?
