Maybe the Dolphins have to hook up with a team in the middle of the first round just to make a trade happen. Again, Ricky makes the talks more interesting. He's a fascinating player, after all, a retooled, low-mileage touchdown machine.
And don't tell me that Jerry Jones wouldn't be willing to rethink his stated opposition to trading the 22nd and 28th picks in the first round for a guaranteed hit on McFadden. Money is no object for the builder of a new $1 billion stadium. Put McFadden (rookie sensation) and Ricky (rebranded Longhorn) on the same Cowboys roster with Terrell Owens and you've got a Texas-sized spectacle for sure.

So what do you guys think? 22nd, 28th, Barber and Ayodele for 1st Overall and Ricky Williams? It is tempting... Anyway here is the full article.

Talk about a reporter who has nothing better to do. No matter how many times Jerry and Stephen Jones say we're not moving up to take McFadden it isn't going to die.

That's a shame.

Sounds like speculation for lack of something better to do. Ricky could have been one of the better RBs in this league if not for his refer madness and other assorted behavioral disorders.

I suggest people who want McFadden go look at film of the top ten backs. I feel he is the best back in the draft but I don't think he's worth what it will cost. There are other backs in this draft who can help this team. There are two backs who I think offer a better fit and will likely be available at 22 and maybe 28.

We are not going to draft McFadden unless he drops far enough. And even then I don't see anyone trading him away esp if he drops.

So it isn't going to happen. It isn't going to happen. It isn't going to happen.

What's wrong with Barber and F Jones or C Johnson. Think about those and other combos with Barber and how that affects the team over the next three to four years.

I agree 100%. Personally I don't think McFadden is even the best back in the draft. F. Jones or C. Johnson would be more than alright with me.

..I'd say absolutely not about Ricky Williams.

The reality is he's going to be cut in TC.

No way does BP look to let this guy carry the rock and have the team depend on him.

Just think about Hambrick in dreadlocks.

He's slower, takes a ton more hits going thru the line and Ricky still has fumble problems..one of his biggest weaknesses his whole career.

And if people are worried about PacMan and his character issues and a lifetime suspension possibility for another transgression..

..double it with Ricky Williams.

I can understand the arrogance of the writer for suggesting this trade for the #1's with us. Well documented. But adding Ricky Williams to any deal with MBIII as the horseflesh to do this..?

He needs to stop in here more often and let us help him get more creative if that's what he's after. We can do a lot better than this.

Shear fantasy stuff.

Now..if they would like to explore adding Jason Taylor into the trade and not Ricky Williams, then we can get serious. I could come up with a few other players we could add on our roster than BP can outright steal from us and do a Mega-Deal.

No problem.

This guy gets paid? This mcfadden for barber and our picks has gone on long enough. Isnt there enough for the dolphins beat writers to talk about right now without throwing fairy tales in the mix.
