I liked the movie as well.

It was one of those nice surprises.

Never heard of the movie but was bored on day and seen it on one of the movie channels.

It is odd and a little different but I was pleasantly surprised and pleased.

I rented that movie and made a big stink when I took it back. I stopped watching it when I could not turn off the sub-titles.

I was disappointed by it. The back and forth of the movie really took everything out of the film for me. The "real" world aspects were much more interesting than the other stuff. Things would be interesting and then she'd go off to the other place and it was just dull.

I was interested in the whole movie.

The only part I thought was a little off was the Pan character. Although he was doing things to test her, even afterwards when it turns out what he says is true...he still came across as creepy and untrustworthy IMO.

It exceeded mine. It's just one of those movies that hits some people and not the others. Not because they don't get it or anything, just some like it and some don't.

I haven't seen his other films.

I really like the idea of the movie and with that cast, I figured they couldn't go wrong.

But I felt like it only scratched the surface... could have been a lot deeper.

Maybe. I just didn't think it was that good. I loved the reality parts (the suppression of the Basques, etc...) I just didn't get anything out of the fantasy part.
