Panthers Defense

That's interesting. Why would they predict blowing out Dallas when they barely beat Zack Wilson and the Jets and were in a close game in the 4th vs the Davis Mills led Texans??? I mean give them credit for being 3-0, but that's crazy to think they will blowout any team at this point.

In my experiences Panthers fans have always been somewhat arrogant. This seems about right for them to believe they are SB bound already.

They are panther fans lol
Fans are not the best indicator of how good a team is
They seem to have some talent on defense but they’ve played some easy teams and the Saints at the right time
CMC being out is gonna be huge
I predict we get 4 sacks on them and a turn over

100%.........no question

But without McCaffrey that offense will struggle. And they lost Horne their #1 pick corner which was a part of that defense. They trade for Henderson but Im not sure how much of an impact he can make on such short notice.
Good football teams, including Dallas this year, find ways to win when someone goes down. I am not saying Carolina will win, but I wouldn’t be surprised.

I think we win this one by 2 scores. They haven't faced an offense like ours.

Agreed but after playing 2 really weak teams the last two weeks they are not only due for a loss, but havent played close to talent level of this Cowboys team. Plus their #1 offensive star is out so will be a little weary going in AND its in Dallas. I think the Cowboys win this one fairly easily.

The Panthers are so overhyped. Hubbard was average vs the Texans and was stuffed by the Saints. Their offensive line is hot garbage. Fleming is their starting left tackle.

This is the game I wish we had Lawrence. He would definitely eat against Erving. Randy Gregorybhas to be excited for this week. Hopefully, Anae or Armstrong plays or someone else who went against this guy last year. I’m sure they could figure out a way to beat him since they are familiar with his tendencies.

Is legit in the rankings.

Let's see how they do vs our weapons.
So far they held the saints to 7, the Jets somehow got 14 points, and they held the Texans to 9 points also.

The Saints are worrying. The Pants defensive rush is real we have good to adequate tackles. Our DL is showing and if Cam Irving is still the Panthers starting left tackle I'm happy.

Panthers fans around here are seriously predicting a blow out. They've got some young studs on defense and they seem to be balling, but the reality is they've played awful QBs. I think NFL ranked Davis Mills and Zach Wilson as #31 and #32, respectively.

Either way, I'll be there. Flying in first thing Friday morning. This will be the 4th time I've watched Dallas play Carolina.

I can confirm the optimism they have as I live just outside of Charlotte and have to deal with it hourly now since they started 3-0. I've seen the Cowboys and Panthers play many times in Charlotte but that'll be as far it goes for me as I don't fly.

With that said I reckon I can't blame them for getting giddy about things but let's be honest. They haven't played anybody. I know a W is a W and you can only play what's in front of you but everybody knows that we are better than anything they have seen thus far.

Their defense is good, not great. Their offense takes what you give them and is nothing flashy, especially now that their best player is out. It is certainly not anywhere on the level as what our offense is.

Although the fans around here are starting to come out from under their rocks, some of the talking heads over at WFNZ have some reservations about playing us. Notice I said some of them.

The Panthers are averaging 23 points a game. If they think they can hold the Cowboys offense to under 23 points at the AT&T then they are delusional. The Cowboys defense may end up scoring half of that.

We'll win the game, it just won't be as easy as it was with Philly. That Dline is for real. However, we should still be able to move the ball and sustain enough drives to pull away late.

Their D could be legit, but two major factors come into play as mentioned by others: losing their RB is massive in terms of who he is, as well as time of possession. Their running game has to be good to keep a good offense off the field. Second, is losing Horn. Time will tell..

They beat Jameis Winston, David Mills and Zach Wilson :laugh: and people act like they are the 85 Bears. Put pressure on TB boy and don't allow Robbie Anderson to get behind the D. Should be a cakewalk.

A depleted Saints team and two rookie QBs is not a true indicator of a great defense. I think they are good. But not that great.

I do worry about them getting extra rest over Dallas having a shorter week, but even with that, I feel we can score on them.
The short rest for the Cowboys is the wild card. It’s a big advantage for the Panthers. The good news is our players are young, we played subs at the end and it’s early in the season.

I think we drub the Panthers, much like we did the Eagles, as I predicted we would. But the short rest can and will be a factor.

I remember in 2016, when we played the Packers, they had the #1 run defense. They were giving up less than 3 yards a carry. We ran for almost 200 yards averaging 6 YPC.
We might not do as well but I have a feeling we will average more than what the Panthers run defense is currently giving up (2.6 YPC).
