Thats because your being weak-minded and pissed off about a loss. Your letting all the haters get in your head.

Why dont you come over to my end of town and go to a Falcon game....that will give you a better perspective of how good we have it as Cowboys fans.

Nice Try.

Actually my complaint is that the fans here are weak minded. INstead of standing up for their team through hard times they do the opposite. Counter productive crap.

Atlanta is probably the worst sports city that has 4 teams. Dallas is no where near that bad, but its bad in its own right.

by the way what you have done mr. fan with the tickets you havent used this year?

Of course there are good fans. But when there are entire sections mostly empty (the cowboys side of the field), Chargers fans carrying on and waving flags the whole time, and times you can hear a little kid scream from like 5 sections away that means the crowd is bad...the sum is greater than the whole of it's parts.

If you want to see a rockin crowd go to a game in Buffalo. During the Monday nighter nobody sat. You couldn't so much as say "Cowboys" without getting yelled at.

Yeah there standing up and yelling all the time because there team sucks balls and has for over a decade.

They will be more gitty for a Monday Night game because they only get one once every 5 years.

The same fans that are about to lose there team to Canada.

The Cowboys have been good for the last decade? The Monday nighter was an example but you can go there any Sunday and the place is loud.

I hate the Bills as much as anybody but it would be a shame for them and the NFL for that team to go to Canada. Just because they are a small market doesn't mean they aren't good fans...they are certainly better than the ho-hum fans at Dallas games.

Well they ARE going to lose there team.

Sounds to me you should be out buying your Trent Edwards jersey personally.

As of right now the leading group to buy the Bills is fronted by Jim Kelly...and they are trying to keep them in Buffalo...so it's not definite.

Yeah I heard that whole Jim Kelly deal...not going to happen. Not enough revenue for that city. It's all about money.

He is right, I have been to tons of games in buffalo.

Before they renovated and it held 82000 that place was nuts. I remember going there for a dolphins bills game when both teams were excellent.

The 70000 plus there could make your teeth rattle. Compare it to the 80000 plus sunday in arlington against the chargers and on a noise level it would be like a 9 versus a 2.

Everyone in the stands in buffalo cares, the games mean something, the team means something to them, the players mean something, monday morning it hurts when they lose.

Here, people just go on to the next form of entertainment. Its just a game, no big deal. They suck anyways, they are not a super bowl team so why would I cheer for them or be bothered. Call me when they are in the superbowl.

that is the Dallas-FOrt worth fans attitude.

Sunday we had two very good teams with excellent quarterbacks, two master tacticians calling the game against each other, both in first place, both fighting for the division title and it was 70 degrees out.

and yet you could hear a pin drop for 90% of the game. And that is what it is here. The rangers crowd has now taken over the cowboys crowd.

Texas stadium has been great the last 4 years. This year has sucked in comparison, and we might be a better team this year than any of those years.

Ding ding ding.

There is a reason you don't see opponent flags waving in every section in Buffalo and there is a reason Tony threw 5 picks there.

Teams are worried when they have to play in places like Buffalo (maybe not so much this year when they suck) but they look forward to the opportunity of showing up 80000 fans in Dallas.

at the same time all of this is true, their is an element of people at bills game I dont want around me here either.

I have seen some really losers, getting drunk, causing fights, attacking kids in buffalo.

They are not the end all be all, but they back their team on gameday and when things get tough during a game they hang in there and look to punch back. That kind of stuff lifts a team.

laufenberg pegged buffalo perfectly back in 07.

He said when we go to philly to do games, you know your in a football town that likes to drink. When we showed up here in buffalo I realized I was in a drinking town that likes football.......

with all the colleges around buffalo that is basically it in a nutshell.

I don't totally agree with Babe, because they support the Bills all the time...but that notion of pride is something the Cowboys don't understand. And they should because there is a lot in the Cowboys organization to be proud of. They stand up for their team and their city unlike any place I've ever been. I can imagine only GB, Pitt, Philly and maybe Cleveland have the same kind of passion as Bills fans.

Unfortunately, despite the overload of Cowboys stuff in Dallas, the people realy don't care about the team it seems. If they really cared, we wouldn't need Keith Brooking to tell us its 80,000 vs. 11. How nice the stadium, how expensive the beer, or how big the whole in the roof wouldn't matter. Because when it comes down to it, the Bils represent Buffalo...the Cowboys represent entertainment. (please don't bring Jerry into this)

Hey everyone,

Big time NY Cowboy fan here! I went to my first game in Dallas this past Sunday vs. the chargers.... I used Maximum sports tours... our seats were in section 142 in row 11. It was a good section of fans for the most part but I know myself and my fellow NY cowboy fans were some of the loudest in our section....

I have to say I was shocked to see so many damn Charger fans.... I was so sick of going to the Meadowlands to see the Cowboys because all you do is argue with Giant fans... I felt like it was almost like a nuetral field...

Lets get to the other things... I had an awsome time with the tour... Maximum sports did a very good job with the tailgate party and our seats were very good... We were sitting lower level in the corner of the endzone about 8 rows off the field...

Charger fans were definetely obnoxious in my area and my brother in law almost got into a fight with one of them....

The playcalling on offense is a problem.... not once did we try to stretch the field.... not once did we attempt a screen pass.... and i dont even want to bring up playcalling on the 4 downs from the 1.

The stadium is beautiful and i wish i could go to more games...I hope to make it out from NY again next year...

I also stayed at the Gaylord Texan and that is an unbelievable hotel... had fun in the Glass Cactus Saturday night.....

I will never forget my first Dallas Cowboy home game....

This thread really hit home for me. It is nearly impossible for me to put into words how I felt after the home opener against the Giants. To build something up so large for so long (first game of the season, new stadium, against the giants, etc) and to lose the way we lost was absolutely devistating for me. I flew in from MD on Sunday morning (day of the game) and went straight back to the airport for a 6am flight Monday morning. I slept inside the airport and it was absolutely depressing returning home.

well again, every team uses things like the brooking thing here.

The bills for about a 4 year period had a set of videos with bruce smith encouraging the crowd to cheer and it was built off the bruce smith is a bad man campaign.

Everybody does that. Philly uses all the rocky clips before and during games.

I have no problem with that stuff. that stuff is alot of fun and it works.

yep and if the crowd is paying attention and gets loud it could make a difference.
it is really hard to keep the crowds attention, the TV timeouts, the ads,
all that stuff seems to have really bad timing.
they actually ran the free taco at taco bueno ad when it was 20-10. its only good if the Boys win.
its gonna get better, it has to.
