To build something up so large for so long (first game of the season, new stadium, against the giants, etc) and to lose the way we lost was absolutely devistating for me. I flew in from MD on Sunday morning (day of the game) and went straight back to the airport for a 6am flight Monday morning. I slept inside the airport and it was absolutely depressing returning home.
you are exactly the fan i had in mind when i wrote about those folks traveling for the games. my sympathies man, come back because its a great feeling when you leave after a win.
no matter what happens this year i am already looking forward to next year when everything wont be new, it wont be the "first this or first that " and football will be the primary focus.
jerry better know that without a winning team he wont be filling those seats, i still remember them offering 4 seats, 4 drinks and 4 hot dogs for a $100 during the Campo years to get people out to the game.
