Parcells finally found his guy! (not Romo)

Dont get me wrong, Im just as excited about Romo as everyone else here, I been on his bandwagon since camp.

However, I remember in a press conference a couple months ago, Parcells talking about how the fullback position is becoming extinct, and how he told Ireland to just find him "one guy" like that. I cant remember who he was refering to, but it was one of the few good full backs left.

I love me some Oliver Hoyte, that man will stick it up in there, and from everything I saw, his understanding of blocking angles is uncanny especially for someone who has been playing the position for about 5 minutes. Hoyte had alot to do with our running success tonight.

Hoyte looked good tonight.
When I first heard of the switch in position for Hoyte I thought OH NO!!! But I was wrong and I am glad that I was wrong..

I was very pleasantly surprised with the play of the lead blocker, Hoyte tonight. I have been pretty critical on letting Polite go but everytime I focused on the lead blocking, it was spot on. I think we have a keeper here.

Hoyte hammered Carolina's kick returner at least once as well.

Not only that, he played great on Special Teams. So he is keeper if he keeps playing like that on ST and Full back like that.
