Just the Cowboy parts paraphrased for anyone interested:

on the loss in Seattle: "everyone forgets that we had them backed up after the fumbled snap and let them out of there. If we stop them at the goal line and they punt we get it at the 45 with plenty of time to get in position. But Alexander made a great run."

On Romo: "We'll find out about him. I like him, I like him alot, he's a little impulsive. He needs the regulators on him, things can get a little chaotic without the regulators on him. He's a good kid, smart, wants to win, likes football, he's got all the ingredients. He can't do it himself and has to rely on his other people."

On Jerry: "I really had a good time there. He's a good man, he's a man of his word, he's very benevolent - people don't know that side of him but I do, I have a very high regard for him. He's done an awful lot for the NFL, there's alot of people emulating what's he'd done with marketing and such."

On Owens: "He's not a mean spirited kid and he produced for me. (Can you count on him when the ships going down - question from Russo) I don't know that, I was only with him for a year. This guy has produced at a high level and had a great career, you have to give him credit.

I wanted Parcells out of here when he left. I was ready for something different. Looking back though? I was an idiot for wanting him gone.

I wouldn't necessarily want him back as a coach though. I'd love him as a GM.

I'm glad he's gone. He was a horrid coach in Dallas.

I'll never forget the constant running a base 3-4 defense against three wide, and having an outside linebacker (Ellis or Ware) covering receivers.

Wade sucks, but Parcells wasn't much better - if at all. He didn't accomplish anything while he was here.

Nah, you weren't. I love the guy. But that defense was simply atrocious. Something had to give.

Three-wide? That's child's play. We stayed base against 4 and 5 wide receivers in the Seattle game.

Exactly.

All Parcells was good for was witty press conferences.

See the Baltimore game this year and the Washington game before that. This Defense is just gutless when it matters. And they havebeen for quite some time under a number of regimes.

Alexander didn't make that great a run. Rather, Roy Williams whiffed on a tackle if memory serves.

They weren't gutless against Tampa.

Or Washington, the second time around.

Its inconsistent. They can turn in good performances. And they can wilt.

Same with our Qb.

I wish he was still here to, just not as coach. It would have been nice to see him move to the front office in a consultant type role. Sporano would probably have been named the head coach, TO would probably be gone by now, Pacman never would have been here, and we probably would have won a playoff game or two!

and people forget that we got *** over on a bs replay spot for the ball when there was no good angle. a diagonal overhead angle is enough to overturn a first down call

Was that the Witten catch ? I remember using lots of four letter words after that play and spot.

I like Billy P. Im glad he came here. If he never came to Dallas, then that means Sean Payton never comes here, which means Romo never comes here, which means were probably still searching for our QB.
