Parcells Retirement scoop

I have from very reliable sources that Parcells has been building a home in Saratoga NY. It was recently completed. Its a 18,000 square foot house and ready to move in......

Parcells is a member of the local Country Club there and loves the ponies.

I am pro Parcells staying as our coach but after talking to the local guy there - Parcells may be retiring!

FWIW-prior to TO acting out again, he put up his 18K square mansion for sale a couple of weeks prior.

Yeah-it all but looks like Tuna is gonna hang up the spurs himself.

as for the retirement stuff- I think his itch is very real- this season has been a roller coaster ride for him- he had high hopes for this bunch and we may end up a play or two short of the playoffs-

My inclination is that Parcells will return for a single season and then retire back at his ranch- HE WILL NEVER COACH AGAIN BUT WILL DO SOME CONSULTING ETC TO SATISFY HIS EGO

Could be - I'm hoping Parcells extends his deal. But the 1 thing I've learned past 25 years watching Parcells - all his moves are very calculated......

Why does he build a 18,000 sqaure foot house if he's 99% comitted to coaching? Coaching to him is a year round job. He's clearly looking at a retirment building that house. Question is when?

BP has been very open about building a home just minutes from Saratoga.....

I first heard about it prolly mid way thru his first season here in Dallas.

His house being completed really has nothing to do with him retiring. I do however think missing Saratoga for Training Camp will take its toll sooner or later. I live very close to Saratoga. Believe me, this time of year I'd much rather be in Texas.

I'm starting to sense this could be Parcells' last year. He appears to elude the "retirement" question and never comes out and gives a direct answer. Just seems odd he doesn't refute the questions unequivocally.

I will disregard all the rumors because in a couple weeks we'll all know where Parcells heart really is.

I assume that Parcells has been living in a cardboard box on the street the last 2 years. That new house is definitely the tell-all sign. And just think how calculated he was! He orchestrated the builders, who certainly started months and months ago, to finish the exact same time Dallas would go on a losing tear to finish the season out of the playoffs. All the stars aligned.


The Dallas media just can't get the scoop over message board detectives.
