And Jimmy the private jet is on the way to the Keys!

With Heiniken on ice for you too! :D

ISpain, good point. The Cowboys had more than ample opportunities to make some noise since September and just couldnt get it done. I figured this season would be 8-8 or 9-7 at best, no playoffs unless the NFC was on par with last year. We understand as fans that injuries to key players are going to happen (Flozell, Dat, etc.) in the course of the season. But from watching games of the past 3 weeks, this team has much work to do before it's known as a serious contender.

so we wait 2 years when his contract and drews are over THEN we're ready?

we're built/designed to WIN NOW - you get no long term excuses under this model.

No, this team is designed to win now while developing young talent for the future. You don't play as many rookies as Dallas does on defense with only a win now mentality. The organization has a plan for now AND the future.

so who's our qb ready to play in 2 years?

sorry, he's blocking our key position and i don't understand why. if drew is our hope for THIS year while we're still in this then we pull him vs. leaving him out there getting his arse handed to him.

but no - more stubborn parcells.

this is a WIN NOW team - focused on bp qb's w/no competition allowed there.

9-7 will be a miracle? This is his 3rd year in control of every aspect of the Cowboys organization. It shouldn't take a miracle for 9-7.
If we only had a kicker, they could have been 11-5. Can't put the blame on anyone but BP.

Please for F***k sakes, stop trying to feed us this parcells can do no wrong ****. He is prehistoric and clearry should take the blame for (A) hiring incompetent coaches i.e; zimmer who is completely useless. If you go to the 3-4 hire a coach who knows the system. Payton is afraid to call plays not that he is any good at it, however fassel fired this guy but hey! i'm bill parcells what i say goes. His staff is horrible and he hired them!

(B) there is no way you can convince me that parcells does'nt okay the game plans, he's a control freak and what he says goes. who do we blame the players!

(C) Trying to use the prehistoric gameplan of the 80's giants, by the way who decided that we did'nt need a free safety, OH! that was bill too!

(D) stop trying to sell us on that parcells can do no wrong B*llsh*t OH! i used that one see A,B and C!

You guys should take a step back. Hey, I have to travel to D.C. on business tomorrow, I'm feeling it as bad as anybody! But Bill is a truly great coach, and he has had his team in every game this year (including a few that they probably had no business being in).

Players win games and the players performed poorly across the board. We shanked punts, missed field goals, missed tackles, dropped passes, blew blocks, I mean it was a compete disaster. The coach can only put players in the right position, he can't play along side them.

I'd like to see Bill open the offense up as much as anybody but I don't think people here understand just how bad the Flozell Adams injury hurt this team. Bill is still the best thing that happened to this team since Jimmy Johnson, and I still feel the team will rally and get a wildcard birth.

Let's put this one out of our minds and get ready for Carolina. If we beat them, we're surely beat the Rams and 10-6 will get this team in with a winnable road game in NY.

So what good is having a big name coach if its all on the players?
I don't buy the line of reasoning that the head coach is totally or even partially absolved of responsibility.
Parcell's job is to have his team ready to play. This team was not ready to play today.
I could understand, not like, but understand a 3 or 7 point loss in a hard fought game. But come on this team gave up 35 to the 'skins in the biggest game of their season. They didn't even look competitive.

The team that has shown up 2 of the past 3 weeks will not beat Carolina.
I'd say Dallas and WA split their final two games and the tiebreaker goes to the 'skins.
Dallas had to have this game and they were completely blown off the field, as bad as any Campo team was ever beaten.

Anyone who thinks we'd be better off without BP is a ... oh, why bother, if you think that you are probably illiterate too.
