Thanks to Danny on the forum, I ended up parking at the Lincoln Square shopping center near the stadium. It's about a block away and if you spend $40 there and leave the receipts in a spot where they can see them, you can park for the whole game. It's a lot better than paying however much and getting nothing but a place to put your car.

There's places to eat and lots of places to shop.

You don't have to buy a parking pass. We parked in the Wells Fargo parking lot for $20.00 but the walk was almost a mile. During our walk from the parking lot we saw some people giving rides to the stadium in tricycle-powered cabs for $5. Hope this helps.

We parked across from the Ballpark for $20 and walked probably half a mile. The walk was very enjoyable though. You can tailgate there too. It was lots of fun.

This works extremely well, and is what I did for the first two games and plan to do from here on out.

It's a 10 minute walk... not bad at all.

My daughter and her group did that. They ate at the Black-Eyed Pea (I think), then left the receipt in view inside the windshield, then took a short walk. Has to be over $40.

this. otherwise you can park on the far side of the ballpark for the rangers for $30, closer to the stadium for $60, across the street from it for $75 or $120 to be on the grounds.

hire a limo.
look around for resturaunts that do a park and ride.

save your money. once in the stadium you'll need it. : )

A better idea is to spend your $40 on plenty of good beer and food at one of the bars or restaurants there before the game, then you don't need to shell out the crazy prices at the stadium.

We were getting pitchers of Shiner at Sherlocks for what they charge for one plastic bottle Miller Lite at the stadium.

By the way, someone mentioned Black Eyed Pea has parking as well. That's true, and they also were doing something interesting at that place... basically saying if you wanted to buy a $40 gift card, that would cover your parking. So if you don't necessarily want to sit down and eat before the game you can just go that route.

Also, at Lincoln Square, there's a Best Buy there, so I suppose you could just go in and by $40 of gift cards or iTunes cards and that would satisfy the requirement for free parking.
