Parnell And the 12 formation

Here's my train of thought. Perhaps the team thinks they would rather be weak at tackle over guard since the two TE set will allow help with the tackle. Thoughts?

Perhaps they think that Parnell was as good as Free last season. Teams don't rotate OLinemen if either of them are drastically better/worse than the other one. Dallas rotated Free and Parnell in the final 4 games last season because Parnell is physically superior to Free. Free is probably the better overall player at this minute due to experience; however, with enough experience Parnell can surpass Free because Parnell is stronger and quicker.

It's not a terrible thought, Let's just hope that our TE's can block.. If they use Gavin at the 2 spot and use him with Witten in these sets, then their not going to like the results.

I think they're crazy if they replace Free with Parnell at OT. According to Broaddus, he's not even playing like he's fully healed yet. I'm hoping we find another capable lineman to supplement what we already have. Parnell's not the answer. Not yet, anyhow.

Yea Parnell is garbage to me. Don't see what they see in him

How much help did Free get last year? None, and that was with a TE2 that could block. Now you have a guy who the worst part of his game is his blocking.
